I so wish I had gotten to study art in secondary, but my mam forced to to give it up, even though i had shown an interest in art since a young age and my fave uncle who was an artist and architect was my fave and I wanted to be like him She made me choose music instead, look how far that got me!!
I watched a really good film a few weeks ago called " My Kid Could Paint That" about a 4 year old who painted and astounded critics. The documentary was pretty good, yet quite revealing as to possibly how the paintings were "really" done.
I am mad as I have two mouth ulcers a cold and it's that time of the month!!! triple wammy
I would say a) he is just being a jerk coz you told the guy and just picked the meanest thing he could to call you
b) he is playing around
c) he is a jerk and you just didn't know before and now you know so stay well clear of him
That's the thing though, most people DON'T change. I'm always impressed when someone can explain to me about their religion, or if they have changed religions like you have.
We have had lots of guests in our flat, we do the couchsurfing thing and one of them was a humanist and it was great that she actually knew so much about it! Which is rare when I have spoken to people from more christian religions(this is people I know).
Chelsea you are getting your cat declawed? really
I can't wait until I don't have to see every other guy and gal on the streets over here in skinny jeans. Or leggings and flats Everyone dresses the exact same.
I didn't say that you had to follow it blindly though, I said I don't see the point if you are not fully involved.
I am talking about, actually going to mass, confessing etc. As I grew up in the catholic church that is the only one I can talk about. My main peeve about it is I was being told that I HAD to go to mass every sunday, HAD to this and that etc, but did my parents or other people I knew go? No, so what I'm saying is if you are going to claim you belong to something at least show a bit of interest.
I'm with you Kitten on not following blindly, too many people are sheep, but as an I am an atheist I don't agree either with just taking pieces from other religions, because as you say you are just making it up, I just don't see the point in believing in something just to have something to believe in. Just my opinion.
Well boy she was loud! It was like she was beside me lol surround sound!! I hope I never see her face to face I would laugh I'm so mature right? lol They had music on too, but it didn't mask it...oops that's what we do!
This is what I got on the Garlic Store site http://www.thegarlicstore.com/index.cgi/cookingprep.htm
" the garlic is still good for cooking as long as you take the sprout out and discard it"
I must have misread that item before lol
Well I am on the bottom here AND I have no bed, so no squeaky bed noises lol
I don't do fashion, I'm sure you all would heckle me if you saw me on the streets lol My day to day going to work clothes, jeans some top and rain jacket/wool long coat. On days off if I go the shops then I wear MY clothes I wore a black dress to work one day and one of the girls asked me was I going out somewhere? I was like no why? she said oh coz your so dressed up! So no more "fancy clothes" to work. The rare occasion people from work see me outside of work they kind give me a long odd look lol
I have one kinda corset, I got it at this warehouse store, it's from some UK store I think. It's purple with black embroidery and a black chiffon layer at the top, it's really nice on, no laces though, just a zip, only cost me around a fiver though ;)
My neighbours are having sex and eughhh shut up!!!!
I do so love giving away the things I make, it makes me happy and hopefully others. I have put up creations without how to's mainly because if I am making jewellery, it just takes a mind of it's own and it's hard to take pictures as you go along and as m_m said sometimes you just have to look at the project to see how it was made. I think I will keep my creations to my blog in future though, I feel guilty just posting pics with no how to's
My friend sold a painting the other day for 20,000.kr which is... $291/£145.. I thought it was a lot, seeing as she is unknown and not really a professional. I mean she is an amazing painter and am proud to have one of hers hanging in my kitchen, but how do price something like that? How do you go from selling something for that price to making a million quid?!
I don't see the point in belonging to a religion or Faith if you aren't fully involved in it. But that's just my opinion, coming from a family of hypocritical roman catholics ;)
The internet brings the crazies out. It doesn't matter who they are, people think because it's the internet they can do/say whatever they like. I wouldn't worry about it too much, if you only know this person online.
