We have a similar place in Ireland called Newgrange and it is amazing! I went when I was a kid and was just in awe of it. I am not sure but I think you can still go inside. And on the solstice there is a raffle to get in to see the light light up the chamber! This is an really beautiful area too, in the Boyne Valley, where Tara is too.(the ancient seat of the High Kings of Ireland) I have never been to Tara though.

She has a show with her real dad Billy Ray Cyrus, he of Achy Breaky Heart country song.

My 11 year old sister loves her ;)

I definitely don't agree with places like Hooters, I knew it was real alright and am actually shocked to see one already in the UK.
The thing that pisses me off is that there will always be women/girls who will do this kind of work, either they have no education, or they think it is a sure fire way of earning more money, maybe they get more tips in a place like this, than working as a waitress in a normal place.
BUT just because women work there, does not make it right. We should be in a place in this day and age were women don't see a job like this as a good idea.

There was a story recently about one of those UK Kiss and tell girls, I don't remember her name. Her young daughter who wasn't even a teen yet, is dying to get a boob job and is already wearing those horrible velour tracksuit things. Her mother of course thought this was great as she would get more work with a bigger chest and she even said she will be mroe famous than Britney, considering Britneys lifestyle at the moment, I'm not sure that is a great idea?
I found the link:http://www.dlisted.com/node/25256 her name is Alicia Duvall, I'm sure you have heard of her *rolls eyes*

Here is a link to a story about a book that was recently published that makes me want to puke.

Yeh Ireland is great, it's a shame really though, I lived there for 23 years and went to only a few other counties, whereas I have pretty much travelled most of Iceland and I have only been here 4 years! ha

Well you all have your priorities in college/uni, so I think thats good Happy My thing was travel, so I did that when I needed to. You are never too old to travel, so you still have all the time in the world to do it Happy
I haven't been away since 2005, that was to London. I really want to go away soon. My sisters conformation is next March and I know she wants me to go to Ireland for it, so if I do that's travels for a year gone Happy

I'm jealous I really want to get to Japan! I can't complain I have travelled a lot, but not enough, I somehow can't manage to leave Iceland!!!
If you really want to travel do it! I always wanted to travel though, I didn't go to university after school, I worked and worked and saved a lot and then went Happy

I know 100% more about American politics than I do about the Irish lot.
I do know our Taiseoch(prime minister) is resigning at the end of May. He is in a bit of trouble with his finances being in question(although he says this isn't the reason he is quitting), so we may also be in the same situation as you in the UK by just getting the next guy in line in his party.

I really want to read that book Queen Happy
I just finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy and I loved it, I read it in one morning, it's a quick read and you just don't want to put it down.
Then I read Hellboy the first graphic novel and now I am reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne
