I think the skull (from the first post) is pretty gross looking, in design and the fact there are teeth and other bits hanging off it. If it was a bit more polished maybe it would be better looking.
I concur with Rainbow, in that I don't believe after death there is anything of me left in the body. If my OH wanted to use my skull as a pencil holder so be it.

I just popped my plastic skull that has a flashing light in my front window. They don't celebrate it here, so if I find a pumpkin tomorrow I shall make one too
aww best of luck with her healing she is a gorgeous dog Queenie
I think it's great. I for one am terrified of dying, so facing stuff like this is good for me. maybe hehe
I saw in the London Science Museum, this guy was executed and gave his body to science. They sliced his body and now have a complete image via computer of how the body looks in each part. It's fascinating.

I dislike.. skinny jeans, I just don't like them.
(I don't think I've ever seen a real pair of uggs up close, in pics they look warm and cosy, but they just don't work up here in the snow and rain!)
There are a billion things I would never wear, but that doesn't mean they don't look good on other people. I just don't like them myself.
I am not a fashion follower at all, so I dislike most of what is popular. I don't buy something just because it's in fashion. I am not a sheep.
That being said, sometimes it's great when things you like are brought back in fashion, as you can stock up on them! Like grunge looks to be making a comeback now! So stock up on them flannels ;) hehe
Burn After Reading, it was ok.
Finished the Rats, pretty good horror story
That is very cute Roma
I also made a mask in summer camp when I was a kid! I loved that thing, it's probably been thrown out though. Also a cross I made in my youth club with matchsticks, that was well cool, but thats gone too I presume
My dad used to get them and I would read them when I was in the house.
I loved the station when we had it, although they do have a lot of ads on grr
It looks great on you.
Yes it's pretty cool with the footpaths, most of the main streets have them, they lay pipes that have heated water flowing through them under the slabs or concrete or whatever.
With the natural hot water we have in abundance here it's pretty cheap to do this. Helps stop everyone skulling themselves! But as I said, it's mainly the main shopping street, not in your local estate.
No time change here, now I will be same time as the Brits and Irish yay

Well the people who complained were muslim, they were testing the game and said that they don't put the words from the Koran to music as it's blasphemous as it's the word of god. The guy who wrote the song is muslim also from Mali in Western Africa, he says it is normal for people there to put the words to music. So what can they do?
Personally I don't care, I'm not religious and I don't see what harm singing a song can do? but sony is a big company and will bow to the pressure for money.
I could never get sick of snow, I just hate when it's melting and all slushy and your feet get wet. We have heated footpaths, so it's mostly ok to walk around the main city
