I do love bread, but it makes me so bloated I'm Irish everything I eat goes on bread ;)
I haven't made these in ages, they are so good, thanks for reminding me Cat! I am sick of bread.
wow They look handy, I have the two sets, one of cups one of spoons, yours look cooler
I can't live without mine now, it seems like every recipe I find is American! But that suits me now, as my weighing scales has broken
ikea do really cheap measuring cups. a ban marie, god havent heard that term in years!
I love seeing what all the people have made, but I never have enough money to back all the things they do and I don't think my skills are up to their standards either.
I would say go for it though
Yes I agree with Miss Mess, we add tabasco to most things, even soup! If you can find them, dried chillies thrown into a soup or stew will make it delicious, but remember to take them out Unless he wants it really hot!
snails lol
The best place for recipes of all kinds I think, is tastespotting.com Sooo many photos of delicious food, savoury and sweet. Click on the pics and you get brought to the blog

I tried sushi in December, got take out from the local sushi bar, I gagged on the fish ones, I just couldn't take the taste, I liked the veggie ones alright, but this box comes with fish already in it. Nearly killed myself by putting too much wasabi on! idiot
Sushi actually refers to the vinegared rice, not the fish So you can tell your friends off haha

I agree, for most people ethnic food is normal part of your life. I love Mexican style food, Indian very spicy food.
Traditional Icelandic food is not to my liking. They have most "ordinary" other foods, but at a certain time each year(the end of Jan) they eat the old food. It's called Thorablot, in the olden times they didn't have any salt to preserve their meats so they had to come up with some pretty funky ways of keeping it edible throughout their harsh winters. So they dried fish, they used this soured kinda milk product and smoked stuff.
The most popular foods to eat at this special time are boiled sheep heads, rams testicals and various other foul sounding meat products.
My favourite Icelandic food would have to be dried fish, it is so damn tasty. You just tear a piece off(maybe like jerky) and dip it in some butter mmmm a great snack and Skyr, which is a dairy product described by wiki as: Skyr is an Icelandic cultured dairy product, a type of fresh cheese that has been strained, not unlike Greek yoghurt. It comes in plain and many other flavours and is said to be one of the reasons Icelanders live to an old age, as it is so good for you
You can buy it in the US, in Whole Foods I think?
