Wow!! Is food really cheap in the US? We generally spend about £40 a week - probs about $70 and that's being really quite careful.
I guess we do live in a quite expensive town with no cheap supermarkets but that's still a huge difference!

This website is quite quick and simple for sewing machine trouble: http://sewandserge.com/tshoot.asp

For me the usual thing that works for most problems is to take the bottom bobbin out, give it a good wiggle/shake and re-thread the bobbin. Seems silly but it works for me.

Aww.. I'm british, I guess I never really thought about how nice the accent is!

The one thing I would really really want is a little kitten. We live in a rented flat at the mo so cant have any pets. Although one did sneak into our flat today when my boyfriend left for the day and pooped and peed on my favorite rug Happy Put me off for about 5 mins.

I agree with Michelle, I can pretty much guarantee your friends will change their minds before they actually apply to college. It's nice to have dreams though!

I pretty much chose my degree - International Management and Modern languages at random as I didnt want to study languages on their own and picked whichever course made sense to go with languages. Never thought of studying that before and turns out I absolutely loved it, now working in International Trade and never wished I did anything else.

Well that's fair enough. Generally if you go to a decent/professional piercers they should be able to give you advice on whether it will reject it or not.

I used to have a really good Body Piercers where I used to live who told me I shouldnt get a scaffold a smy ear isnt the right shape and it would be painful when other piercers said it would be fine.

My mum has her belly piercing rejected so she went back to this same place and they changed it to a gold piercing for her and that sorted the problem. Not sure if you could maybe wear one of those until it heals?

Oooh yey! The dye I am using is this one: http://www.superdrug.com/Perfect-10-from-Clairol/PERFECT-10-DARK-BROWN-4/invt/535125 I last coloured it beggining of March but I probably wont get round to doing the highlights until end of May as I dont really want to put more hair dye in until I have regrowth.

I dont really want to go very blonde either, I'm thinking something like this: http://www.my-hair-style.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/girlemo.jpg

I would probably also want to keep the highlights away from my face like this: http://0.tqn.com/d/beauty/1/5/3/0/1/katherine_10.jpg as I've been told the dark brown is a nice contrast against my blue eyesHappy

I'm just getting a bit bored of the block colour and the sun is now out in the UK so I would like something a bit more summery,

As I said my main worry is it damaging my hair, from experience darker dyes have not destoyed my hair as much as lightening ones and now i have hair to half way down my back and dont want to ruin it.

I got mine done last summer, has heales pretty well considering I have to change it to a tiny stud during the week for work.

Mine didn't hurt at all, although the piercer was slightly shocked by that. It also bled after which she said it shouldnt do but never mind.

Either way you should go for it, piercings arent like tatoos, if you're not happy with it you can always take it out Happy

I'm also interested in the answer to this question... recently lost quite a bit of weight and looking to make my blouses smaller rather than buy new ones.

Trying to decide whether to get highlights, my hairs already dyed dark brown/black and I'm thinking of getting a few highlights, not sure whether I should get blonde ones or maybe go for auburn reddish ones...
Also as my hair is already dyed would it make it really complicated when I want to dye it again and will it dry my hair out too much?

Been contemplating this for a few weeks and wondering whether to do it or not, getting a bit bored with my current colour :S
