I'd love love love an app, I do most of my internet stuff on my phone...just because I can and its fancy. And I don't ever really wanna drag out my computer because when I do I'm not at home and outlets and what not. My mom still pays my phone bill so a free app would be ideal. But if I had to pay for it, I'd beg my mommy. And if an app isn't possible, it would be nice if the pages could at least be a little friendlier to my phones browser, It's kind of annoying to look at the site on it. Of course they may have fixed some of those things I haven't even bothered trying to look at it in a long time. I did when I had gotten my phone and wanted to set up some bookmarks.

And if there was an app could we still post projects on it, or even just an app to post projects cause I take a lot of my project pictures with my phone, at least when I don't need it to pick up some crazy detailed stuff. And with the capabilities of phones now, it wouldn't be so bad to have people posting pictures from their phones and stuff.

Comforter is just a big huge puffy bedspread. Mine is all warm and soft and snuggly.

Mine is made to fit a king size bead (even though I'm rockin' a double, wait I mean that in a non-sexual way) It's huge, I wish I new the actual dimensions though. It's huge and actually kinda heavy once it all folded up, I have to use a seriously oversized plastic bag from rebook. Cause I guess when you buy two pairs of shoes they give you a bag big enough for 5 pairs it seems.

@ nicpea. That would be great! I tried some blog hoping on blogger by hitting the random button, for a good two the three hours, they were all so terrible, I don't see why its necessary to have an entire blog on how much jesus seems to love you.

@ pinkweeds. I feel that I already have a large enough vocabulary as it is, I know when to swear and when not to swear. I have a 4 yr old and an angry mother I can watch my mouth when I need to, I just have this feeling like if I'm going to blog about the things I do and enjoy doing that I should really be honest with myself. Honestly my vocab comes out more when I'm depressed, if I need to describe something that I'm feeling I have to come up with more words than just one big long f-bomb like I most feel like. I just think that at least to me my swears are no reflection as to my IQ or lack there of. (my spelling is another story all together though) I seem to run into an issue where when I speak like I think, when my words span outside the normal lexicon, that less people understand me anyway, I may live in the ghetto but that's no excuse as to why they don't understand the phrase "inappropriate euphemism"

I'm making my friend, who is the last of us to have a baby (save for the gay ones!), a knit blanket because I noticed how much little ones love textured blankets and especially ones with holes for the little fingers.

When she finally gets a name figured out for sure I was thinking about making rings for each of us that have our babies names and birthdays, maybe a little birthstone set into them. It'll take a bit but I think it's totally worth it. And definitely cheaper than the first child's name tattoo that its seems like everyone gets after their babies are born.

I'm making my boyfriend a siver ring out of quarter, if it works out he made me two last year for our first valentines day together and I love them so much, He keeps hinting at wanting one and wearing the ring he ex gave him a long time ago -_-

I'm also thinking about making a him some kinda of mousse pie, graham cracker crust and an oh so very thing layer of fudge on top of that and and then mousse and stuff, maybe some cherry cordials to top it of? Peanut butter something, he doesn't really like chocolate either, unless it's white so I can't use to much of it. My and my sister were joking about dressing up as Mrs. Lovett for the occasion after she slipped "meat" somewhere into the conversation, I mean we do have to cats already and they're vicious and evil and poop in my bed when I'm gone for the weekend. (jerks)

I'm really worried about making a back up on both of those in case the ring doesn't work out for some reason. But I have no clue what to do instead, I've had my heart set on these one for a month now.

I'm in the process of making a ring out of a pure silver quarter for the boyfriend of valentines day.

Has anyone else tried this and maybe has some advice on the matter, I've go a pretty large array of tools at my disposal, well after my dad gets home anyway. lol.

I've been searching through the site, but I'm hoping someone else has done it and just never posted it. If it turns out well I'll do it again and make a how-to for it since I haven't seen anything like it yet. Also I'm totally pining for a featured project, I'm just looking for a little help on the matter, I've looked at tons of tutorials on instructables but I haven't been able to get it to work that well for me. Doesn't help that I'll be going from quarter sized to a size 12 ring. I know it's possible but I'm frustrated.

    Thanks in advance!!!

You know what I was thinking the other night. I'm constantly dragging my comforter back and forth from my house to my boyfriends house, I carry it in a plastic bag and it's ripping really badly I should try and make like a sleeping bag kind of case with a handle for it. But I don't even know how to go about it...does anyone have any ideas, and do you think a yard would be enough?

I know I'm super late on this one, but I constantly find myself in this dilemma as well. Maybe other people do as well. I make people friendship bracelets when I've gotta do something fast, keychains, shrinky dink jewlery (non of which are really grandpa appropriate though) But I found what usually goes over the best is a personalized version of something they already have...Like if he has a can, find another one and engrave it or something, that way you know they either need it or already like if but if you can put a fancy homemade spin on something they already have and like its usually a safe bet.

Or you can always fix something they need to have fixed, if you like me people keep give me shtuff to fix and it sits in piles forever so for birthday I give them all their stuff back fixed. It's lame but they'll totally appreciate it later.

This may be a little out of the norm and totally not accpetable to most people. And believe me I'm not advocate of drug pushing and I'm totally against illegal substances...I have a great disdain for stoners actually, even if it seems ALL of my friends are.

Normally I spend a great deal of time down in the dumps but I've been having some seriously bad asthma related problems the past two weeks so I broke out the prednisone. Which is merely a steroid in for those of you who aren't familiar but I've been taking four of them like I'm normally prescribed. And I don't know how I've never noticed it before but they totally brighten my day, which is ironically lucky that I rarely take them when they are prescribed, sometimes they give me a sore throat. I'm just saying if you got 'em for some reason, its a totally day brightening option.

If this is totally out of line I understand. And I'll delete this no problem if its an issue.

I do have a question though, I had decided when I started my blog that it should read the way I think about things...with the omission of all the extra unnecessary words...refraining from saying anyways every time I switch subjects. So I tend to be brutally honest about what I'm up to and I swear quite often. I was wondering if it really matters...I mean, I've yet to find myself a crafter who I actually feel I can relate too. So I figured why not? But I was wondering, as readers how much does it matter?

If you've read mine, it would probably make more sense as to what I mean. Aside from this being a little more of a shameful promotion...How detrimental is language, content and motivation to what you're actual producing and trying to covey?

Yeah I'm starting to think that instead of only posting when I make something that I should spend some time blogging about all the wonderful inspirational things and how-to's and examples I spent time finding and never finding the motivation to put to use. Hopefully someone else can then.

I don't really wear pajama pants as much as I wear ginormous sweatpants. Almost all the time, either that or tiny shorts...I know I dress strangely.

Although a great and appreciated answer I don't think that I would ever get to put them to use.

I recently inherited about a yard of pink fleece with piggies on it. I wish more than anything I had a picture of it to post. But alas it's not with me right now.

My only problem is I don't know what to do with it. It's bright pink, like barbie pink so that automatically means I'm not going to wear it. Don't believe me? Check out my projects, I don't do pink. But I'm in love with this fabric and I need something to do with it...So does anyone have any ideas...

I've been racking my brain randomly trying to come up with something, the only think I can think of is a hoodie lining (I think the pink is well hidden enough for me to pull it off.) but I'm not sure if I have enough for that. The only other thing I've thought of is a purse lining. But I don't really like putting fleece on the inside of purses, because after a while it gets gross, and personally I think it's to stretchy to serve its purpose there.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I've found this site is the best source of idea people out there.

You should try watching the videos and learning how to knit backwards like a left handed person. That way when you watch the videos you can follow them exactly.

It was just brought to my attention lately that I knit like a left handed person, I just think its weird that I never noticed, considering I've been knitting for almost 10 years. Better yet, my om knits like a right handed person, although she's left handed.

I'm pretty sure I only knit like that because someone sat across from me when I learned and didn't even think to flip it when I was younger.
