Anyway, I had a GREAT shoot last night! I just hope I get photos from it--you know how they are when it's paid. ;)

Everyone else: I def. support the idea of a calendar!!! It would be fun to do a crafts one..... or one for those of us (not me, lol) who are great at photography in general, OR even those of us who are into the whole modeling/pinup thing. I think the crafts one is most appropriate, obviously. :-P

We should SO do it. I know I'd buy one!!! :-D

A calendar for CO+K would be an awesome idea though! As for themes, I think some cool suggestions have been made, although as a note here in Canada July would be Canada Day (the 1st), and our Thanksgiving is actually in October before Halloween. Too, there's loads of other awesome holidays in December other than Christmas (Kwanza, Hanukah, etc...) Would be interesting to do a theme poll as members are from all around the globe. We could probably manage to end up with a variety of holidays for each month lol Also, not everyone gets snow...not that that means people mightn't do snow related crafts there, m'just saying (January could also be New Years- although not everybodys' new year starts then). Plushies for May definitely gets my vote though! *squees at the cuteness* Either way, I think the idea has great potential and I can't wait to see what happens. You guys rock.

Good for you Rachie, but like others said this is a way for him to scam and make money on people who know little or nothing about modeling/ photography. Most of the time if the photographer isn't going to be making money on pictures, you dont get much, but good photographers will give you images (even if they have a watermark)

That's complete bull! Even if you weren't a professional, what person in their right mind would pay to be in something they're not going to make any money over? That must have been that person's first calendar making >.< And business 'try-out'.

Unfortunately, this happens in this industry all the time, in the names of "portfolio" and "experience." Well, I have enough of both. Plus, most of the "models" in his calendar are butt-ugly and/or look like transvestites--not the look I think he is going for.

Anyway, has there been any progress on the calendar idea??? I think we should make a new thread about that.
