About
So, figured it was about time I added something here...
Ever since I can remember I've been making things, telling stories, and singing. I tend to mainly make either useful things I need around the house, or jewellery, although I have dabbled in clothing and plan to expand my expertise in that area.
I originally went to university with the idea of getting a Bachelor of Community Design, but life threw me a curve ball or two after the end of my first year, and I'm now going to be doing a college certificate in Jewellery Essentials. I've done one workshop on silver casting before and work a lot in wire with my jewellery so I'm looking forward to it.
At this point my hope is to start my own business and sell my jewellery, with the goal of expanding into other items including clothing, other accessories, and home decor. Ideally I'd like to see my work being as environmentally friendly as possible, and I want to source low-impact local materials for all of my work once I get going. In the meantime I'm working with whatever I can get my hands on that fits the bill and doesn't leave me broke...
I consider my style to be rather eclectic- classy, cute, sexy, quirky, playful, dark, fantastical, earthy,... If you look at my projects and wardrobe there's a little bit of pretty much everything.
I always appreciate feedback about work I've done- whether'd buy something like it, think it would better with different colours/materials, or if you don't think it's quite polished enough, ect... It'll all be helpful when I'm deciding what pieces I'll try and sell in the end.
Thanks for checking out my stuff.
Happy Crafting!

- commented on their comment Kind of cute, if a bit mis-named... Agree with Pixii though, there's definitely something off about the colours- which is funny 'cause in theory (ie. all laid out before hand) I think they look pretty good together.
