About
Based on Ear Cuff by Chelsey
I was looking at the ear cuff I had made, and wondered if I could turn it into a pair of earrings. It worked, and this is what I ended up with. Not sure how well they'd stay on if I went for a run- I think it all depends on how well they're bent to fit the shape of the ear. Basically, all I did was follow Chelsey's instructions, but I kept the zigzag tight, instead of an open 'z'.
(Sorry about the pictures being so blurry- I can't figure out how to take unblurry close-ups at the moment...)
Additional Note: For the curious; I used Gauge 24 copper wire, and an assortment of glass beads (plastic beads could be larger as the finished project would be lighter. I don't think they'd stay on if they were any heavier than the pair I made.)One roll of wire, (I used 'National' brand,)of 100ft cost less than $5 even with tax. The beads would be what could make these pricey- but I probably only spent $.50 on these total.
UPDATE: Turns out my camera does have a macro mode after all...

I don't have pierced earrings so this would be cool, and won't hurt to much as clipearrings
Glad you like the colours- my first one was in purples, but I didn't have enough beads to do a set like it.
Find the manuel and look it up.
I like the color of the wire and the beads
