the veet/nair stuff isn't painful at all if your skin can tollerate it. The box always tells you to put a little spot of it on your leg and after 5 to 10 minutes take it off and see if you react. They often say to watch it for 24 hours, if after that time you're fine then you are good to go! Once you know that you can use it then using it is really easy! If you are finding it hard to keep waxing or plucking then I would say go and buy some. If you want it for the face I would suggest getting the special little facial kit because it's not as strong.
