unwanted facial hair

I had electrolysis on my moustache
It's really not espensive, it only cost about a tenner and that was a from a reputable beautician
Laser hair removal is the expensive one
Electrolysis, however, HURTS!
They poke a piece of wire into the hair folicle and then zap it with electricity.
Good lord!
I had 2 or 3 rounds of it and it definitely prevents the growth of some hairs and reduces the growth of others
It's worth looking into for small areas but i would no way be able to put up with it on a large area
You might have a higher pain threshold, though and if you think of the end result it's probably worth the pain :] x

ever since i had my daughter (two years ago) i get wretched little hairs all over my face, especially like the underpart of my chin, its so annoying. i constantly pluck and wax..pluck and wax..i think i'll look into that electrolysis. its not that other people notice, because really they dont, it just makes me soooo self conscience..its aggrivating.

Hi Everyone - I know its been said but Laser Hair Removal is VERY MUCH worth the cost!! I ahve PCOS which = facial hair, arm hair, stubborn leg hair. I couldn't take it anymore so
I took the plunge with laser and have been soooooo happy since day 1. It takes time, but each session is less and less - takes minutes to do on the face. You could pay for
one session at a time to keep ahead of the costs - which have come down in the past few years.

Hope this helps!
K

I actually taught myself how to do threading... Once you get the hang of it it's really not that hard to do but something like the upperlip might be tricky to do so I think I would go for the tweezers. Also doing threading on yourself is much harder than doing it on another person! I've noticed small hairs on my upperlip and once you see them there's no going back. I use a Veet facial kit, it's specially made for the face so it's not as harsh as the regular stuff for your legs (which I also use in the summer on my arm pits because I hate shaving them and I don't want stubble)

I've never tried waxing because I'm too much of a chicken about it but I've wanted to try it because I'll have to do it less often then using the creams. Plus isn't it said that with waxing your hair eventually comes back less and less?
