RANDOM RANTS!
you know I had a problem with my uni once too, its like they all act stupid
I have carpal tunnel syndrome and it HURTS!!!!!!!
It's difficult to craft with hurty wrists
Boxing really hurts my back.
UPDATE: Well there has not really been much of an update, I spoke to a guy called Dave - on Friday, who used to be head of the Joint Honours department (before it was closed down), he was abit more sympathetic to my situation as he was more used to the conflict, more prone to students in the Joint Honours Department. He also said to me that when they were talkinng about the closure of my old department, that the problems were inevitable and they were unsure of any solutions to the problems they were going to face. Anyways all he's done so far is e-mail one of my lecturer's, the people in charge of Joint HOnours studetns in the Business School & the Faculty of Health & Human Sciences. Si all that's gone on, is the continuous discussion of my case via e-mail...
...so like I said, no real progress!! Argh... I will try and talk to someone in person when I go in tomorrow.
Queenfairypants: Thanks honey, I've been having to sort out the problems they have put me in for the last 5 or so weeks now, it's getting to be a piss take
I will keeep you all updated (not that my problem is the be all and end all of this discussion) and I will be hear to listen to the randomm ranting of others
Meanwhile I'm just going to look forward to Wednesday, I'm going up to Mansfield for my nephews birthday party - he will be 4 - I'm sooo looking forward to it - I'm just a big kid at <3!!! lol
no, your rant is important. Its your education, and its like they are mucking around with it
Aaaww poor Laurel - I hope you don;t have hurty wrists for too much longer... tis a pain in the arse!!!
Lol Becky:]
It's better today and I have my splint off yay
thats great
ughhh I hate my art teacher. ABSOLUTE WORST ART TEACHER EVER. There is no creativity cultivated AT ALL in that class. Yeah, you can choose what design you want. But only out of the pre-selected designs, because that would LOOK BETTER. Wouldn't you rather have something that doesn't look as good, but its your own original idea, rather than something that looks good but everyone else has the same thing?! I thought so.
well that doesn't sound like fun at all
My mom made me feel really bead, she was saying how I lowered my standards to date chad(my ex) geesh
wow thats no fun
I know, its like gee thanks mom, and today my doctor said I am 28 I should be married by now
Not everybody is married by the time they are 28 years old. Some people never get married, tell your doctor to stick his profession and not focus his attention on your personal life. As far as your mom's statement, parents are gonna think no one's is good for their kid, even if they really are.
Courtney, that does suck. If it looks good or not, it's not original. Something that comes from YOUR creativity is way better no matter what anybody thinks.
Omigosh Michelle, how rude of both your mum and your doctor, nice(!)
Still nothing sorted at Uni so it looks like I'm going to have to swap a Psychology module... not happy at all... everything's getting me down.
Yesturday was lovely, I went to Mansfield and had a party for my 4 year old nephew Jay. Now I'm sad to be back home.
Also, the left hand side of my face, and my left ear has been hurting alot over the past 4 weeks, I think it's neuralgia, however it's been hard to confirm this as it has been abit dodgy getting round to my doctors (well I left it for about 3 weeks and now there are no doctors at my surgery, all for their own personal reasons).
So I'm feeling very down today, just want the world to swallow me whole - not that I'm suicidal or anything. I really don't want to go into Uni tomorrow, but I know that by NOT going out and ignoring people that it'll make me feel worse.
Sorry I always seem to rant on here, moaning all the time and depressing everybody. There are good aspects of my life - I promise
Courtney: That's no fair for you. I remember doing GCSE Art and my Art teacher didn't like the concept behind my final exam peice - scrapped it and told me to copy some picture of a building she'd given to me. I have no idea how they have so many constrictions when teaching art, art is a subjective subject... you create something within the topic you are given, YOUR teacher may not like it, but an examiner might. I think that they shouldn't give you marks based on the desireability of peice, but the meanings behind it... when we go and view Art in galleries, we don't just like a peice based solely on how pretty it is.
Honey, you keep doing your own thing, if your persuaded or forced into choosing a design simply because it looks prettier, then your concept or design will blend into the herd of other students works. You do what you got to do and yours will stand out above everybody else's!!! We are all behind you xxx
