The DS Zelda game is awesome, great fun. And yeah, the DS does reach a large audience; I'm not a hardcore gamer or a particularly young or old person, but there's still loads out there for me to like. I'ts a great wee system.

yes I would never call myself a "girl gamer" I do play some games, mostly on the various GameBoys and the DS, I loved pokemon, advance wars 1 and 2, LOVE LOVE Animal Crossing on the gamecube and the DS, Tetris of course. Have to get the new Zelda for DS.

My boyfriend got Mario Galaxy for xmas off his sister, but silly girl never checked the region, so she got him the American one! DOH!!! He ended up selling it on ebay, so he is dying to play the game!!

OOh go on! I haven't played the gamecube one in over 2years! So my house will be full of cockroaches lol The game on the DS is my boyfriends one, so it is his town, but I have my own character in it. It's pretty cool and something fun to dip into a few times a week for a while.

yeh i'd never called myself a 'girl gamer' the same as I wouldn't call myself a 'girl music listener' or something I'm not gonna go into that one cuz then I'd go on about the 'female rockstars' thing.

I absolutly love Mario Galaxy it's my boyfriends game and wii and I've got further on it than he has Happy

I don't understand why you have to say "girl gamer", surely it's implied that you're female? Just say "gamer", or "I play games". Which I think everyone does at least a little

Dude I'm the bigest video game player ever but I don't broadcast it because it's kinda lame for a girl to play games here. Plus the only boys your attracting are fourteen year old ones because the older ones dont really care

You'd think they would think it was cool, cuz then there's something to talk about and do together...plus you can look at gamer magazines without having to buy them when they already have them!

I watched my other half play Assassin's Creed and I found it so boring, he had to do the same thing over and over again. He thought it was ok, but not as good as he thought it would be like you.

It fun when i kick his ass.

Check out The Iris Gaming Network: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=9375184

It's a feminist / women-focused gaming site with a really awesome magazine (Cerise).
