Girl Gamers

im a gamer,
i dont know many girls who really play as much as i do.
i love my ps3 it is my fave system.
Games include.
borderlands.oblivion.fairy tale fights.playstion home.batman.little big planet 1.star ocean.Flow.assians creed. psn games. oh my this list will go on. I love rpg games the most and im just now getting into shooters (my husband loves shooters) i am playing call of duty right now a bit although im slow im pretty good at not missing my shot. i do get pwned a lot tho since im a noob at cod lol

I admitt i do play the sims. ive always loved it now currently playing the sims 3. I also never have played WOW but my house mates do and so does my husband it does look fun but im good on playing wow. Also Spore looks neat i might play that since there is a copy in my living room.

I've been playing vidieo games since super netuindo How i do miss donkey kong so many days of my youth i sat playing that silly ape. hehe



We have so many vidieo games in our home its silly. My husband and i atcually have two t.v.'s in our living room both with ps3 attatched to them (his and hers) we love to game together. Hus friends come to us when ever they need game advice or feedback before going to game stop. I guess that makes us nerds.

I do hate it though how blonde barbies try to say cooking mama makes then a gamer.. but hey to each his own.

oh my .. i almost forgot my fave game to play and watch being played. fall out!!! cant wait for new vagas to come out.

In my day girl gamers were a rarity! And we actually played REAL games, not this crap today that these so called "girl gamers" play like The Sims or Kingdom Hearts(yes I hate that game, it raeped my fantasies of Final Fantasy).

Really though, if the game isn't violent and doesn't require much thought you're not a real gamer. Guy or girl. Wii Fit doesn't count as gaming, that online checkers game doesn't count, and playing one or two games isn't going to make you a gamer either.

In my entire school when I was in high school there were only three girl gamers. My two friends and myself. We'd sit in the dark and play Fatal Frame, Resident Evil,and Silent Hill into the wee hours of the morning. Then I'd go home and play some more. <.< I used to beat my brother all the time at Super Smash Brothers 64 all the time and he'd get so mad. They actually BANNED me from playing Link and Captain Falcon. Muwahahahaha.

I am a female gamer. Why do I do it? Because I love playing video games. I grew up into playing videos. Uncles, brother, cousins. I learned from the best.I don't play games to be "different" or make people like me. I don't even talk about my video game playing with anyone besides my brother. Its just who I am, not something I try to be.

Personally I think girl gamers are fudging awesome!! I wouldn't call myself a hardcore girl gamer. Yes I do own Nintendogs, but it is sitting at the bottom of a chest of drawers buried away somewhere, alongside Animal Crossing. However, you could NEVER tare me away from a good Mario game. I used to LOVE all the original Mario games on the SNES!!

And I know that people are following the retro fashion phase but I think that the SNES is one of the BEST platforms ever. Mind you I don't mind a shooting game, even when the unexpected bits make me sh*t myself LOL.

I also own an old retro playstation.

I love dance games too, on the wii and my old playstation with the dance mats. The only reason I haven't got all the Xbox's and Playstation's is that I simply couldn't afford it. I wanted a Wii for a while and waited and waited till I got a reasonable offer/discount etc on it

OMG I miss my Nintendo 64!! I also have my old gameboy too!! I used to love that game on the play station where you were some dead zombie guy going round killing other zombies... I wish I could remember what it was called!!

Ugh tell me about it. For example, take two of my gamer friends, one of them is so pretty and is a really good gamer, the other is covered in awful make up and isn't even good at gaming, she just says she is, yet all the lads go for the latter, little miss air head!

if there's a place for chill people to congregate and play some damn vidjoegames, then you best believe some stupid "gamer girl" will be there to skank it up! i'm serious. why do you girls (those of you who do it that is) think it's ok to send pictures(of ickytimes) to some dude you don't know!?!

and i tried portal a few months ago and loved that too!

I'm a girl who plays videogames like Silent Hill, Mass Effect, Psychonauts [my most favorite game], Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed, Portal, Half-Life, Tekken, Dynasty Warriors, Devil May Cry, .Hack, Fatal Frame, and many others but i also love Kingdom Hearts, Harvest Moon, Sims, Viva Pinata, The World Ends With You, Pokemon, Trace Memory, Dance Dance Revolution, and dress up games. I own a Nintendogs game because i think puppies are cute, not because i think it is a hard-core game that shows off any sort of skill.
