Jobs?

yeh man if you want to work with animals, experience HELPS! any sort of expeirience helps getting any job I've realised recently...still not heard anything back from the places I've applied to apart from a rejection letter...I've actually applied for a job at the job centre, I got the forms when i was signing on IRONIC! and I was actually thinking while I was waiting in there how the staff all seem happy, and it seems like depressing work and I would never work there and now I reeeeaally want to work there! good luck izzy!

I used to always work retail, but I would love to get a job in Graphic Design and in January I might be going back to school to finish my degree.

I've just got myself a part time job at Curry's to do me over Xmas etc, I'm not a temp though. It's in sales, and its 25 hours a week I worked in a Currys before, so I'm familiar with a lot of things, and everyone at this store seems really really nice

Can you believe it? All that moaning about getting let down etc and I forgot to say that I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW!!!

Debenhams xmas staff, the woman on the phone said assesment though so I think there's gonna be some highly embarrasing role playing. I hope they will take some of us on perminantly though. Wooo!

Aaw! The only thing that gets me through it is craft!

*cry* uuurgh now I've had time to think about what happened in the interview thing I'm just all embarrased. I think it went well though. There was 10 of us in this room and we had to get into pairs and write about the other person in your pair and then tell everyone what you found out. The we had to write 3 things about ourselves - 2 true and 1 lie and we had to guess which was the lie. Then we had to choose an item of clothing from a rack and use it to make an outfit from stuff in the shop - this was so much fun! We had to talk about what we had choosen and why and I was shaking when I was doing that and I don't know why since i knew what I was gonna say! then we had a little individual interview and I find out in 2 weeks time if I've got the job.

I just applied to Waterstones and Boots online, don't ever apply online unless you HAVE to, terrible way of doing things. Waterstones' website decided that because I didn't have a gcse in maths that obviously I can't work a till or smile at people and said I should reconsider my application!

well I have an interview at a hotel tomorrow, for the laundry department. Don't laugh, I love doing laundry

One of the 75 questions that Boots asks (that I had to answer twice, all the way through again because I applied for two different jobs at two different shops) is 'Have you ever lied to your parents?' HAHA! I knew this already though from a woman who was at the job interview thing.

So what does every one wear to their interveiws?

I have an interview with a hotel in their housekeeping section...and I really don't know what to wear.

Its a posh hotel, so I was thinking my blue dress pants, with my blue and grey turtleneck shirt...and holy crap I just remembered that we moved all our stuff and I may only have runners to wear! eeek!!!!

ok found the only pair of nice shoes I have here. and they are my cuba charater dance shoes. :S

I will switch shoes when I get at the hotel
