Aww I'm sorry to hear about that
Maybe you could have another memorial type thing for everyone not going to the other one? That way everyone gets to say goodbye and his parents would still be able to see how much people cared about him. They maybe don't want a big thing because they might not want to have lots of people around that they hardly know at a very sad time for them. If that happened to me I would probably want to be on my own for a while without lots of people asking me if I was okay every 3 seconds, because I'd probably just end up feeling worse or having a complete go at them (which really wouldn't be fair because they would only be trying to be nice).
aaaw sorry Dis In year 9 ( 13/14 years old) a friend died and the school was all like 'we don't think you should all go, it's not a party, we already have representitives from the school going' so the poor head girl and head boy of that year had to go to a funeral for someone they probably didn't even know! plus the head teacher and head of the year. But we all went anyway but i got so peed off about what the school was saying i cried and some other 'friends' laughed at me!!! but anyway no matter how old you are you neeeed to go to funerals, they help with the greif and closure.
on a lighter note, a bird flew into our window, but it was all right. Here it is looking a bit shocked! it eventually hopped off into nearby trees:
another bird flew into the window today!!! but it died
i picked it up with a spade and a bit of kitchen roll and put it in the outside bin, there was some socks in the bin over a bit that looked comfy so i put it on that bit and then covered it with the kitchen roll, i like that I gave it a funeral!
I'm really sorry about your friend Dis. That sucks that you can't go,everyone who needs it should be able to have closure.
the song thrush in the picture flew into the window AGAIN! I put some food out on the path for it I got really close to it! and it obviously kept very still and just stared at me and I tried not to stare at it back cuz that scares birds.
I managed to get my only A* GCSE... in General Studies, which basically counts for nothing hahaha.
I was predicted quite a few A*'s last year and was annoyed when I didn't get any. So I'm quite happy now
It's funny though, General Studies is basically a general knowledge multiple choice exam which is impossible to revise for (2 HOURS of multiple choice. Argh!) and an exam which you get given an anthology of texts for and then you have to write a few essays about them. I didn't read the anthology beforehand, and I couldn't revise for the multiple choice, so how I managed to get an A* is a mystery to me haha.
well done Iz!
Thanks
another bird (if it's the same one it's called spitfire) flew into the window again today! and i think the shock made it regurgitate it's food all over the window! ick! poor thing, it's a song thrush and I've seen another one that can't fly so well too.
put some stickers on your window, then they can see its not air!
lol I was thinking of making a sign!!! No more have done it now, I think they learnt their lesson!
A parent in Liverpool bought some seeds to plant in his garden with his daughter, when they grew they realised it was actually CANABIS!!! They got the seeds in ASDA! Apparently it's not the type you can smoke but he said there was such a strong smell, he could have been arrested for it really!
The latest issue of snippets is out! woooooooo!!!
wooo but I cringe at the site of my article!!!
I bought a drill! woo Emma with power tools watch ooout!
I bought my first sewing machine yesterday!! I'm very excited! I'm tired of doing everything by hand, and i finally figured out how to get this thing all threaded properly, blah blah.... only NOWWWW. Well, let's just say i should work on sewing in a straight line. Hahaha!! D
