cut out and keep fit club!

I can't find the link, but I recently read that a good amount of water to drink is half of your weight (lbs.) in ounces.

Example: If you weight 160 lbs you should drink AT LEAST 80oz. of water a day. And even more when you exercise.

I've always loved to drink water and this little tip has got me drinking it even more!

My problem with losing weight is finding motivation. I want to be healthy and I want to feel and look good, but I never know where to begin. I'll go a week or so of eating healthy and exercising and then I just give up.
Hopefully writing/talking about it here will help!

Thanks! (:

I'm with ya honey. I'm the same. I'm a bit like a smoker trying to give up smoking when it comes to me dieting!!
I've GOT to lose weight because I'm worried about my health.

Me, my friend and my mum are aiming to lose around a stone in 6 or 7 weeks. It's probably a bit unrealistic anything is worth a shot.

How are you all doing?

I'm the same Violetta - I have no money right now so I'm surviving on what's in my cupboard. Which is a can of beans, some pasta, three packs of instant noodles, some bread and two eggs (obviously the eggs are in the fridge haha). But I've just come on my period so I'm STARVING. I ate some pasta at about 12:30 and a piece of bread with chocolate spread on at about 3:15, and it's 5:25 now and my stomach's rumbling. I'm gonna wait till 6 then have some beans on toast, which will hopefully take me through the night. I'm seeing how long I can last on the small amount of food I have.

And all I want is to go down to Keystones and get a delicious veggie burger with chips and a beer cause it's only £4 but I can't =(

Yeah me too. Luckily I have a jar of chocolate spread in my cupboard, so that stops my chocolate craving a bit. I'm pleased with myself - I went shopping yesterday and for £4.24 managed to buy a big pack of pasta, some pasta sauce which will last me at least four servings, six eggs, some cream cheese, a big pack of digestives, three packs of instant noodles, and a tin of spaghetti. That'll get me through the week easily =)

I'm following the "Metabolism B" diet. Basically for 8 weeks you are not allowed to take in more than 5g carbohydrates in a 5 hour period. This means that you basically have to cut out all fruits, potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, pumpkin, beans, sweets, pastries, cakes and sugar. I'm currently in my 4th week and I've lost 4kg. And you have to exercise at least 4 times per week. You also have to eat 5 times per day. 3 main meals and 2 snacks.

i can't follow a diet with too many rules- haha, i just try to eat healthy and i drink between 10-20 cups of tea a day. i know that sounds like a lot but tea has so many benefits and you burn fat better if you are well hydrated. i lost a pound this week and went down 1 size since January. slow and steady wins the race!
