Tattoos & Piercing

piercings:
I have 5 in my left ear, 7 in my right, septum, eyebrow and 3 unmentionable piercings.

a Salvidore Dali "mermaid in black" tattoo on my arm
Lenore on my calf
colorful devil/bunny scene around my ankle
a Brian Fraud "bad fairy" between my shoulders
Home-made demon on my other ankle

My cousin does her own tatoos, she had an anchor inside her ear and one on her wrist that went wrong. I'd like a sparrow or a japanese symbol on my foot or hand/wrist, reallly discreet. The 2 things that put me of are pain and what is you go wrinkly??!!! That would be... bleugghh. As for piercings.... I have my ears done but would like it tripld in my right ear.. 1st wasnt painful! My mum had hers done twic in on ear and whn she took it out it never healed and she says to me '' Dont do it??!!'' A sparrow appeals to me.... I always doodle on myself and on a day trip to france I had a black cat done on my ankle for 4 euros, lasted till th end of the day!!! was very cool though.
Can someone explain all these piercing.... Im a noob with these things and would love to know! (pictures would help too!)

i have my ears pierced- no gauge-totally boring and normal
no kidding i have always wanted my nose pierced- since i was 5! i had a substitute teacher and she had her nose pierced- i thought htat was so cool! but i work in food service so i've never really had a chance to get it pierced and then have enough time for it to heal so i could take it out daily without it closing up.

i have one tattoo of my scottish family crest
i want another tattoo on my foot of a compass

I only have my ears peirced once on the lobes, I'd love to get more peircings and some tattoo's but I'm a BIG WUSS at heart. Like you Cat I wouldn't get a tattoo till I have the PERFECT design.

@ Little Miss Sushi: you should look at the BME-site, it has pictures of every possible piercing. Some make my stomach turn, although I love piercings.

I have an industrial piercing for almost a year now. II have a cauliflower ear because of it. In the beginning, my ear got badly infected and now there is still a little knob on top of my ear and the cartilage looks like it's a bit swollen, but actually I don't mind. I guess it will quite attract attention when I stop wearing my industrial, but then I'll probably let the knob remove.

The next piercing I want is a medusa piercing but first I have to be sure it won't damage my teeth and gums too badly. I think I go to the piercer when I am 18, because my mum really doesn't want me to have piercings in my face.

Later, I would like to have the names of my children written on the inside of my forearm. It is saftier than the name of a boyfriend!

Is £30 about right for a lip piercing? Seems a lot...

its a hart shaped ying yang and on the black side i want roses
attatchd to it roses that are dead.
on the white side the same but the roses are alive

It has a meaning in the times that it went all wrong
and the times that it went good with me

I had my smiley pierced for over a year. One weekend, I decided to take it out because I was eating an apple (and eating an apple with a ring in my smiley was always proved difficult) and I forgot to put it back in. Monday, sitting in my second period I realized that I had forgot about it! So I tried to slide it back in but it was already in the healing process. Being hard-headed I shoved it back through... Needless to say, in a short matter of time I noticed that it was rejecting. Pissed me off! I'm sure I'll get it pierced again... But, it does tear up the enamel and I have two dents in my front teeth from wearing the ring. I advise not doing that.

Other than that, I have gauges (10's or 8's I can't remember) currently, my second holes and my lip and monroe.


If I decide to get a tattoo, it will be a tree on my ribcage.

I'm going to get the Amanda Palmer eye tattooed on my ankle - I know someone who will do it for five of my finest English pounds.

I went through like a weird phase of wanting everything pierced haha. There's actually a lot you can get pierced that i didnt realise, like your cheeks and neck, a lot of surface piercing really. I'v seen someone with just under their eye pierced that's quite cool.

Got my nose done today =) actually think it looks pretty good! Was worried it'd look rubbish but I think it's okay. Only cost me £10 as well which was pretty good, I thought.

Wow- some pretty awesome tattoos here! I had my ears pierced almost 4 years ago now, but I took the piercing studs out too early, couldn't get them back in, wore hooks for a week, lost one hook, and then just gave up and let them grow back over. I'm planning to get them re-done because I make jewellery and really want to be able to wear my earrings (plus I bought these neat snake ones as an incentive for myself), but I have a pretty low pain tolerance threshold and a phobia when it comes to needles (I passed out getting blood drawn once), so I have to take the time to work up the nerve again. Don't know if I'd ever get a tattoo. I have a few ideas for ones, but I'd have to find an artist I really trusted and be absolutely 100% positive that I would love the design forever and ever and that I'd picked a good spot for it. I'd also likely have to work on the pain tolerance thing too though... I'm a bit in awe of those who can get multiple piercings and tattoos and not be phased by the pain end of things- you guys are way tougher than I am!

I have two piercings in each of my ear lobes, and one in my left ear's cartilage, and my septum. I had the cartilage one done once, and then took it out because it was forming scar tissue, and then decided to redo it myself.
I keep throwing around the idea of getting my nostril pierced, I'll see how it goes.
I know I want a tattoo, but I'm not sure of what I want, and don't want anything that I will regret later in life.
