I love the large window and the sunlight that fills the room!
Tell us about your space
My Craft Station is about 140 square feet and has a large window to the south. I absolutely love the direct sunlight and fresh air coming through this window. It lightens up my craft station and brings a lively vibe. My craft station is also my little ones (my 1.5 year old boy) daytime nursery room. I've filled a corner of the room with his toys. I do all my work here, from writing and sketching ideas, photo-shoots for contents, crafting and practicing different projects to doing all the activities on the computer.
What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?
The morning light is my daily dose of inspiration and positive energy! I've painted the room off-white and added light golden curtains to add an aesthetic vibe to the room. The table and shelves of my craft station are also made from light beige mdf boards. I've used less colours for my station in order to keep it neat and a bit minimal.
How do you keep organized?
The furniture for my craft station are custom built. I've made 2 tables and placed them at a corner of the room by forming an 'L' shape. My desktop is placed on one of the tables and the other table top is used for taking pictures, which is placed directly to the window. The photoshoot table has cabinets to keep my craft supplies. I also have shelves to keep the regular supplies.
Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?
Cabinets and shelves are the best to keep craft supplies organised. I also use small cardboard boxes and label them with the names of the supplies.
Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?
My favourite possessions are papercrafts and felt crafts. I love crafting easy and educational kids crafts and home decors.
How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?
I save my craft ideas and inspiration on Pinterest and also write them down on my craft journal.
Where do you look for inspiration?
I get my craft ideas from random things and thoughts. It’s during the most busy and chaotic days when I get my best ideas. Besides, I’m addicted to craft hoarding and I kind of have this ritual of going to craft stores once a week just to check if anything new popped in. So, sometimes I work on ideas depending on the available supplies or the supplies I bought randomly.
If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?
My 3 wishes to decorate my dream craft space are - firstly, I would love to add more space for my work station, secondly, would love to include a shelf to display my favourite crafts and thirdly, add a sitting arrangement on a corner and some wall decors.
