Tell us about your space
This is my office and crafting space, where I design and write my crochet patterns. It's a nice room where I can store my yarn supplies, work on the computer, write and crochet in a little couch when I want to feel more cozy and comfortable.
What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?
I've added touches of color from my own work, to dress up the space. I've also found that I work best when my space is tidy and clean. It's like a white canvas, ready and open for new ideas and inspiration.
How do you keep your projects, yarn and supplies organized?
It's easier for me to work and get my daily plan done when the room is organized. I keep my materials inside containers and boxes, baskets or bags and usually classify them by color, type or purpose.
Any tips & tricks for staying organising and untangled?
I try not to use many things to decorate, I always think who would clean or undust that later haha. I avoid buying stuff that I don't need or use. I clean the space every week and that also helps re-arranging or moving things to maintain the space.
Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?
Yes, you can see the Sweet Succulent Pots and the Blooming Bowl, which I love because they are so vivid. Also the Hippo Backpack design in a picture. And the Serenity Mandala, which is not my design, but Susana Lobos's, I helped her with the translation and I think it's a great decorative and relaxing piece to have.
How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?
I keep a calendar and a couple of notebooks, where I write and draw ideas that come to my mind and that I don't want to forget later.
Where do you look for inspiration?
I get inspired by nature and things around me, also by people and their style. I also search for fashion trends online, which is always a super useful resource to find more color combinations, fabric patterns, interesting crochet stitches, new techniques, etc.
If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it your dream stitching space?
I think I'm pretty satisfied with how it is now. I can work very comfortably and calmly everyday, and those are the most important things for me to get things done.
