DIY Mondrian Punk Vest
Recreate the look with Steffi's Mondrian Punk Vest tutorial:
How would you describe your style?
Depends on my mood, usually it involves some references to punk or grunge, I also very often do an all black everything look but it's really just all about how I'm feeling that day.
What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?
My leather jacket. It has the power to transform every outfit into a strong look.
Who are your style icons?
Well, there're a lot of people or eras that inspire me in some ways, for instance I'm drawn to the dramatic aesthetics of silent movies or the subtile erotic of Klimts earlier works, but if I would have to break it down, right now I would name Vivienne Westwood and Debbie Harry. They are strong women and they dare to stand out.
Do you have any favourite designers?
Gareth Pugh, A.F. Vandeforst, Olympia Le-Tan, DSTM
Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?
Truth is, I don't have a specific place to shop for new clothes. I mostly know what I want and search the internet for it.
Do you make or customise your outfits?
Sometimes I do. Actually I wish I'd put a little more effort into this.
Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?
Not really, I don't believe in a certain „fashion-secret“, especially if it's about p e r s o n a l i s i n g. I would always recommend to follow your heart. Be fearless and do what you like.
Which other fashion blogs do you love to read?
My latest blogger crush is Susan Dollparts of dresses-and-travels.com. She's fearless, creative and she's having a lot of fun with fashion. I never get bored of her ever changing, freaky looks. When it comes to sustainability and vegan fashion I always check out stylebizarre.com.
