How would you describe your style?

Very girly and colourful :) I wear floral dresses the majority of the time and only once in a blue moon will I pop on a pair of trousers.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

This is tough....but currently it has to be the floor length red number I wore for my birthday this year. The puffy sleeves and lace trim are ever so whimsical and I feel so content when I'm wearing it.

Who are your style icons?

Oohh, Kate Bush has always been a huge inspiration to me; forever ahead of her time. Also Audrey Horne from Twin Peaks and Anna Karina. They are all quirky, yet elegant.

Do you have any favourite designers?

I am a big fan of Vivienne Westwood, especially back in the 90's. Meadham Kirchhoff is my current favourite, so many cute and crazy designs.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?

Topshop ~It seems to have an ever growing array of beautiful pieces, especially those with a vintage aesthetic.
Market stalls~ You can always find interesting and one-off items.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I make a lot of head pieces and like to add iron-on flowers and lace to my skirts and tops.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

If you have something you know other people will be wearing, then why not make it your own and add your own individual twist. Definitely invest in a glue gun and just pick up little bits and bobs to stick onto a collar or to jazz up your pockets.
