I have an older version, the 8th printing 1984, because that is the one my grandmother has. A great book for beginners or to refresh your knowledge of techniques. It touches on a bit of everything from Embroidery, Blackwork, fabric crafts to knit and crochet. I use it as an inspiration book and refresh my crochet techniques.

I love this book because it's full of vintage charm. Teaches people Crewel, Roumanian, Oriental Laidwork, Bargello Stitches and much more. Ways to up-cycle before there was the term. lol The book is Full of patterns and Great for getting ideas.
