Style savvy sisters have cottoned onto the delights of foraging for that unique one-off vintage item – and when you’re fortunate enough to bag that bargain, Bodacious Buttons aka BoBu, have the equally unique finishing touch – customised and recycled costume jewellery made from vintage buttons, resourced baubles, beads and findings.
BoBu creations are wearable, desirable and unique - marrying vintage with retro to create a delicious range of jewellery. It’s unlikely there will ever be two items the same.
Prices are easy on the purse, and reflect the age and design of the original buttons and materials.
Note about the various components that make up a BoBu piece:
As stated, the chains, beads, clasps, findings and buttons are mostly re-sourced and recycled, harvested from old, unwanted and broken jewellery and haberdashery. When working with vintage diamante and paste costume jewellery, on occasions, there may be the odd stone missing or some age and wear to a component; this, I suggest, makes a BoBu piece a bit more unique and shabby chic.!
