• 

  Step 1

  Fold your paper in half

• 

  Step 2

  Fold the two edges into the centre fold then do it a second time and open it all out...

• 

  Step 3

  ...And you should end up with 8 segments. To make the next steo run smoothly, i recommend you label your segments like i have

• 

  Step 4

  ok:
  1) Fold the paper so that segments 1+2/7+8 are showing
  2) Then fold it back on itself so that 5+6/3+4 are showing

• 

  Step 5

  Fold segment 1 on top of segment 2 and fold segment 7 on top of segment 8

• 

  Step 6

  Turn the model over and fold the corners into the middle

• 

  Step 7

  As i think you are aware, there is a second flap...Tuck this second flap in between the layers you made in steps 4+5. Do this on all the other corners

• 

  Step 8

  Now turn your model over again and there is a split running through the middle of the model, open this out

• 

  Step 9

  define the shape

• 

  Step 10

  And TA-DA! you now have a small giftbox/pin-holder/paperclip-holder (or if they're small enough) A glasses case!

Yes you can just make the second one just a little smaller maybe 1/8 in. smaller it will give you a nice fit...I also Mod Podge mine to make them nice and shiney and more sturdy.
