• 

  Step 1

  Cut off the hem of both t-shirts.
  Then cut off 5 inches off the bottom of each shirt then cut the strip so it becomes a long rectangle.

  Step 2

  Then through both layers cut a rectangle 14 inches by 15 inches on both shirts but make sure you keep them together

• 

  Step 3

  Then keeping the layers together, good sides facing in, stitch up the two sides.

• 

  Step 4

  Now take the 2 strips from step one and fold each side in about 1/2 an inch then fold the intierstripin half.
  Do this with both strips

• 

  Step 5

  Now take both strips and pinch both of the ends together and pull them through the tube. Without twisitng the strips pinch the 2 sides and pull them trough the tube. Pin the ends of about and inch is showing to the bag. Now sew the bottom of the bag, through all 4 layers of the strips too.

• 

  Step 6

  fold down the top of the bag about an inch and sew.

  Turn Bag inside right

• 

  Step 7

  Pin the straps to the bag on both sides. Sew around the entier strap.

I had this book! I loved it so much! I made that tote but I put the strips on the inside 'cause my t-shirts had writing on them and I didn't want to cover it. I love yours
