My newbie swap with TE5 looks like it's come to a halt...we were supposed to send out 20th Sept. but she has apparently not been well and may not be able to finish, so I have suggested we cancel or postpone it, and I'm patiently awaiting a reply........
However, she has an excuse, so no need to put on flaker list.

Nora!! You're crazy. I suggest the next newbie you take on, you decide the theme of the swap and take some of the items out the other parcels! :p I know some of them are personalised and I can't really help you get around those ones unless someone comes a long with the same name lol.

Best of luck in the furture! At least you didn't send out though, and you still have all your efforts with you! That is one 'up-side' to this situation...

I really hate to do this and I was hoping I would never have to.

<b>Did your partner keep in communication with you?:</b> At first she did. I became her friend on facebook and we would communicate a lot by chat, but then it all stopped right after it was send out time.

I think the facebook account she used was just made for her online friends, because she didn't use the same name as she gave me for mailing as on the account and it is mainly CO+K people who are her friends. I have tried contacting her my messaging her on CO+K and on facebook, with no luck. She has made no activity her the CO+K account or facebook account since I sent off.

The funny thing was that she had contacted me a week before I was ready to send off, asking me when the send off date was. I let her know and told her it would be a week before I would be done. She had told me she had finished and was ready to mail, but she was just going to hang onto the package until I was ready to mail out. When I was ready to mail, we had contact again and agree that we would send out on the same day. The day after I had sent out, she said that she wasn't happy with the quality of some of the items she had made for me and wanted to make me new ones. This was over a month ago and that was the last I heard from her.


<b>Were the rules of the swap adhered to?:</b> I would have to say no, since I sent out and have not receive anything in return.

This does sadden me since I worked hard on my projects and it would have been items my daughter would have love to have had, but I told my daughter she couldn't, since they are for a swap.

I believe that she is a younger girl, so I'm real tempted to send out a letter like Dessah did, but I'm still holding out hope that she will contact me.

Were the rules of the swap adhered to?: Heck yes, She rocked my world with all my favorite things, I still in love with these weeping angel earrings, have not taken them off unless to shower and sleep!! I love hers!!

Really is a shame that the list is so long! Good idea on posting it elsewhere Dessah, as we all know there is someone on that list who still posts on the boards!!

Not sure if I should say that but I'll take the flaming if it comes to anything. It's just completely out of order.
