At least wait until your partner has posted a teaser or agreed that they are packed and ready to send out. That way you haven't sent yours away with no hope of anything in return.
I have three swaps sitting here due to flakers, and I made them specially to suit the likes/dislikes of the partners, and also some items are personalised. It's so annoying after all the work that was put into them!!!

Ruby you totally did the right thing. If no-one reports these people, other people will get paired up with them again. I don't understand how people sign up to swaps and then just never come back again. It's not like if they find out they can't do it or change their mind that their partner wouldn't understand, all it takes is an e-mail just explaining their situation. We all have lives and in people's lives stuff happens, it's understandable.

ARGH the whole flakers thing just really annoys me, for you guys.

It irritates me too. When you sign up to something you stick with it. I understand internet can go down and situations crop up but internet is available elsewhere to send a really quick email to explain a situation or ask to extend the send out date. I just don't get it. I would make sure I found time and internet to keep you guys posted if I was in a swap with you. Never mind

No I had issues come up and I told her about them I also didn't ship right away cause she wasn't answering my attempts at communication. When she finally told me she was still in I shipped it was sent back to me wrong address I have it ready to re-ship but will not unless she answers my messages.
This is the 2nd time I have swapped with her and will never again she refuses to keep in contact ships extermly late and I know there are plenty of good swappers out there it take this more seriously. I have given her 3 days to reply if she does not I will consider this swap a bust

Did your partner keep in communication with you?: Initially yes but then went away for two weeks saying she had lost the site. All fine by me, I've done it often enough so we started chatting. Then I finished her swap shortly before the send out date and asked for her address...no reply so messaged the swap hostess who is, by the way, a complete acetastic darling and she said to swap with her. Then Sharon reappeared asking for my address and apologising so it appeared to be fine. I asked for hers and there was nothing. Nothing at all. So I have given up.

Aw Bryony Im worried about SyntheticStars too...in the second round of the Tiny Swap I got her as my partner I sent my package to her ages ago,but I dont know if she received it.And my package from Tracy has gone missing in the mail...
I even contacted SyntheticStars on Facebook,sent her a friend request but nothing.I really hope shes OK,we became good friends here.
