Baby Shower

I love when the prizes are decorating items like candles, reed diffusers, photo frames, coffee mugs. I have been to like three showers in the last few months, and I won a pair of hot pink photo frames, and I really loved them!

The best games I've seen at the showers were...

Dirty Diapers- you melt different candy bars in diapers (on bar in each) then you number the diapers. Pass them aroud the room and people have to write down thier answers. Whoever has the most right wins.

Blind Drawing- give each person a small paper plate and a pen. Then everyone puts the plated ontop of their heads, and have 45 seconds to draw the best baby they can without looking. The guest of honor decides who wins.

Name the items- You show everyone a gift basket packed full of items for the new mother and tell them to try and remember as many things as they can. Then take it out of the room. They then have one minute to write down everything they can remember. The one with the most correct items wins.

Geting personal- This one is super easy, have the new mother fill out a survey of about 15 questions before hand, and write down one right answer with 2 wrong answers. And then ask the players the multiple choice questions. Again the one with the most right answers win!

One of the best games Ive played at a shower would be the nursery rhymes fill in, write nursery rhymes take some words out then everyone has to fill in the blank spots.

Heres one to get everyone to talk to each other more lol,
everyone gets 3 clothes pins, throughout the whole time of the shower, no one can say the babies name, if they do anyone can call them out on it and get one of their pins, who ever has the most at the end, wins.

Prizes could be anything from a disposible camera/photo album, to a special homemade treat. Handmade jewelry is also very nice, considering showers are suppose to be just the girls. Try to keep it simple without over working yourself, you never know who will win. Have fun! Baby showers are a great welcoming.

I've gotten nail polish as a prize... it was baby pink for a girl shower. And who couldn't use clear polish?!
