Hiya, So this candy theme is a swap favourite I think!

I know that a few Candy swaps have happened on CO+K and I see a lot of Swapbot too but thought I'd put a little crafty twist into this one- not only are you swapping actual candy/chocolate you’ll also be using the theme of sweets/candy to make 2-3 handmade items. And the idea is to buy local candy from your local shops if possible (rather than online) if you are swapping with partners across the pond.
What you make really depends on what your partner is into, so as usual, check out their profile for inspiration, but what you make for them should be a surprise ^__^

THE RULES

1. DEADLINES
Sign up deadline is Saturday 25th Feb (i’ll try and email partners out by next day)
Send out deadline is Monday 12th March.

2. . CANDY SPENDING LIMIT
USA : $8 - $16
UK : £5 - £10
EU : 6 euro - 12 euro's

3. Send out your candy/chocolate in the same package as your 2-3 handmade candy themed items so they all arrive together.

4.You HAVE to have completed a Newbie vs Vet Swap already to join!

Hi Girls, Testing the water- how would people feel about the idea of a Candy Themed Swap.

The idea would be that the pairs would swap actual candy/ chocolate as well as a couple if hand crafted items inspired by candy.

You could opt to do an international candy swap or a local one if you prefer.

It will be my first swap host, but I'm really excited about doing one.

I'll set more specifics and price guidelines for the candy if it sounds like an idea a few people would want to do- let me know!

Here's the Valentines gifts I got from Tamara, she totally nailed it

I've written a "50 reasons why I love you" list for my boyfriend, just dont know how to present it- I might cut them out and put them in a jar so he can pull them out when he's feeling blue. Or I might make them into a book....or...dunno- any idea's?

Well its safe to say that my day did NOT get better I had an awful meeting where my manager has just decided to mix up all the job roles and send me to the offsite library in the middle of nowhere for 2 months! BUT my evening is looking up! As I just got your lovely V.day package, I haven't opened anything yet but all the little pink wrapped goodies look so cute i'm very excited! My boyfriend just handed me a large glass of red wine too, so perhaps the day wont be a total bust after all!

P.S- Sorry for the rant!

Im so glad you liked it! I was getting worried it wasnt going to arrive and im having an awful morning! (Slipped on the ice and hurt my knee in front of about 20 school kids waiting for busses, and was late for work due to train delays in the snow AND the coffee machine has run out of coffee, ugh!)so thats some good news at least

Finally! Here are the pictures for the POkemon goodies I received from Joss ^__^

My favourite is definitely the wooden Bulbasaur box! So cute, and really well done!
