Hmm - I can definitely calculate the top users differently - but what way would be the absolute fairest?
Favs on projects posted more recently? We used to generate some lists of 'hot' projects, based on how recent the favorites were. I'll try out some other options!
We're working on some new designs right now (with charts!). But if you're interested, you can add /chart to most URLs to show the top projects from that search.

You're right! Something's going on, and those images aren't loading up at the right size, making them all pixelated. I'll put some updates up soon to fix it. Don't worry though, the original images are all there (and not blurry!).

I'm running through a ton of updates on the images (resizing, recompressing and more) across the site. A bunch of things'll be a little weird as the new images move across to the newer system.

It looks like I can run those fake profiles through the spam filter too. I’ll see if it can pick up on them before they start messaging and following. I’ll figure it out !
I’ve added in some spam-filter checking to the posts being made.
Hopefully, that’ll stop the spammers!

Argh! It’s super-weird. They’re real people, somewhere, and they activate their accounts too!
So... I’m trying to setup some limits on how many new topics you start (maybe 3 every 15mins or so), and making sure that the links they post on their profiles don’t mean anything to Google, which might be why they’re posting. Also, it might be possible to find something that’ll do a basic spam-filter on what they’re posting too, so I’ll look into that.
