My mid-year holidays are coming up, and I have loads of ideas for crafts I want to make for my own Etsy store, however, I'm running low on ideas for tutorials. Is there anything in particular anyone would like to see on the site, or would like to see me write about?

I'm not sure on that specific design, but here's a tutorial on how to do a heart shape: http://www.favecrafts.com/Tie-Dye/Heart-Tie-Dye-Technique-from-Tulip
The way I would do it is to do a more rounded, upside-down heart shape for the main part of the paw, and then circles above. I think using the same method as specified for the heart shape would work pretty well.
Good luck!
I've also seen some projects that have been stolen, though it was taken down soon afterwards. With regard to Pintrest, however, I know that a number of my projects are scattered across various boards; sometimes linking back to CO+K, but sometimes linking to my own blog. Though I'm not sure how many CO+Kers host there projects elsewhere, too.
I'm not doing Project 365 this year (though I want to soon), but this weekend, I'm leaving for university in a different city (about an hour away from home) and I'm planning on taking a photo every day that I'm there. Are you blogging yours or anything? I'll be posting mine on my blog, if you want to see when I get to it. ld-p.blogspot.com
I challenge Iris to make something based on an internet meme!
Also: I can't bake or cook, so please keep it craft related.
You could paint it, though since it's a very complex (and realistic) design, transfer paper should be a lot easier. Or you could you a picture transfer "glue" - I'm not sure of brand names, but it's a stuff that you put on any normal picture and the stick onto the fabric and remove the backing. These should work fine.
Is it The Government Inspector? Sounds familiar!
Definitely add cogs, and then you can just add accessories - do you have access to a costume room from your school or local theatre or anything? If you go for Victorian-style outfits, you can very simply make them more steampunk just by adding great steampunk accessories.
Google for tutorials on how to make goggles and other steampunk pieces, and it'll be great!
Try cutting out a little section at the chest and cutting lines above it to get a similar effect on the front, and then add a few studs or beads to the shoulders and sleeves. Try looking at other t-shirt revamp and recon tutorials to get an idea of what to do and how to get it to look the way you want it to!
With most of the little toys and things I make, I leave them lying in a cupboard, but once my friends see them they tend to claim them. Otherwise I'll occasionally give them away as gifts etc.
Thanks for the links, Birgit! They're all awesome!
DizzyDisaster, I'm actually looking for a more 3D pattern, with gussets and such, but thank you anyway.
I'm searching for a T-rex style dinosaur pattern - does anyone know of a free pattern I could use? A sewing pattern though - I can't knit or crochet!
Thanks
I agree with PinkWeeds. Maybe I'm just wary of dying, but I think that dying would be far messier and the lines wouldn't be as neat and defined as if you were to just get the two pairs and do some snipping and sewing. Maybe go into it with a friend - each buy one pair in different colours, then you can each get a pair of the split jeans!
On projects on this site, I can't seem to find the patterns any more! Where are they??
I'm sure I'm just being silly, but I can't see them!
I'm desperately looking for a clutch-style bag pattern. My matric dance (prom) is in a week, and I need a pretty, delicate bag that has enough room for my fairly large camera.
Anyone know of a pattern or have any ideas on a bag that will be big enough? Thanks!
Panda-Goes-Rawr, I challenge you to make any dinosaur-themed project.
