I have so many knitting and crochet projects on the go at the moment but I'm going to take a break from them to make a neon sign for Technique Tuesday.

If you have a pair of shoes that are starting to look a bit scuffed up, you could cover them with the ribbon by cutting strips and sticking them down with mod podge
I made a steampunk eyepatch for La Carmina a while ago and used a battery powered LED to light it up. It was a little fiddly but she could just insert and remove the battery to turn it on and off.

I'd love to find out if there are other options too though!

I don't have a cat so I'm living vicariously through my friends and family by crafting for their cats until we can get our own someday. I've been making collars so far and was wondering what everyone else has made for their kitties?
That's a fantastic idea!
I've started too but I'm going to have soooo much to do. I love this time of year for crafting!
Hey Nona, that's crazy, I haven't noticed anything like this. If you can let us know which project etc. I'll look in to it!
Ohh what do you do with washi tape?
I love that dress. I'll add it to my to-make list and do a how-to!
Turn them in to little people and make an army

Turn them in to a patchwork quilt! I did that with a bunch of mine and fabric things I had collected (napkins from weddings etc) and it gives the quilt a really nice feel, because all the squares have more meaning and they bring back memories.
Not sure about what crafts Jenna and I think it would probably be over the phone!
I get my fabric on ebay!
I loved making solder balls in technical class in high school. We use to get in trouble for melting down all of the strips of metal. My dad gave me his soldering iron, so I have to try it out.
Yeah, reading Japanese would be cool, then I could read FRUiTS magazine. Oh well, I can just look at the photos for now.
