Looking For Something New: Who's Your Favorite Author?
Poor toe
And yeah I absolutly hate it when you get into a series and then the books are hard to get hold of... Amazon are pretty good for books that are hard to get hold of though x x
Hmm, you should read the End of the Affair by Graham Greene (I believe). It's the only book that I've read of his but it's really good.
As for my favorite author... It's totally Chuck Palahniuk.
@PKF: Yeah, Amazon is, but I haven't got any gift credit left... D:
@D.Chelsea: Chuck Palahniuk sounds familiar. What kind of books does s/he write? And what do you love about him/her?
He wrote Fight Club and Choke, (they've been made into movies now). I have to say that I just love how raw and unapologetic his writing his. He's sort of an asshole in his writing, but for some reason I find it more intriguing. He puts his characters in absolutely crazy situations, situations that are believable but totally random and you can't help but follow their stories because you have to know what happens next and how they react and deal with the situations. I could go on and on about how much I love his books! Haunted is probably the most crazy. I've NEVER read anything like it and I don't think I ever will again.
Hmmm... That's not my kinda thing. The movie Fight Club bugged me out.
Basically, my life's been insane enough, so I like things that are more light and amusing than intense. I'm at a point in my life where I just wanna relax for a while, and laugh my ass off.
Ah, then yeah. Chucky P may not suit you. You could try David Sedaris then! He writes about his life and it's pretty funny to read. I'm not to big on autobiographical things, but he's too good to pass up!
