Netflix doubling prices for current service!

I am seriously mad at Netflix. According to their blog and an e-mail they sent out they will be doubling the cost of a service currently being offered for $10. Seriously, I do not understand how this is good customer service at all, and I am going to cancel my membership to make a point. If everyone that left a complaint on their facebook page does the same they will be forced to consider NOT changing their current plan. Currently $10 is my entertainment/relaxation budget and I'm sure I am not the only one,.

PLEASE HELP ME COMPLAIN!

I think it's ridiculous that they're going to raise prices just for people who want both services.

It wouldn't be such a big deal if EVERYTHING was available for streaming that was available on DVD, but they don't have rights to stream a lot of stuff.

A lot of people have already left Netflix to use DVD services like RedBox, but RedBox doesn't have streaming. Hulu does, but it costs as much as Netflix currently does and there are commercials from what I hear.

I foresee a lot of torrenting happening due to Netflix pissing so many people off.

I'd kinda rather get movies the old-fashioned way at Family Video... at least there you can rent whatever movie you want for a dollar and keep it for a couple days. Getting DVDs by mail would just be a pain.

My family just got netflix a month ago, and we're all freakin obsessed with it now and never leave the house. LOL We're all huge movie freaks (we actually owned a video store for 10 yrs, up till 2008). Its probably the best way to get movies now if ur a huge movie buff (tho most of their live-tv-streaming movies kinda suck). We get the $10 plan too.

But If their really gonna raise their prices, Theyre gonna lose a lot of business (including ours). My family will get soooooo pissed. Thats fucking rediculous.
Theyre gonna have to change all their (now lying/cheating/false advertising) comercials too. >_>

Why is everyone becoming so money hungry now? grrr.

wow, I signed up for the free trial three weeks ago, because I wanted to host movie nights for the summer. Now I'm just going to cancel, because I just can't afford it. Back to the library movie section next week. Happy
