I'm Bi too, though I never thought it's possible untill I met my girlfriend 3 years ago. Happy Before that I always was into boys... Sure, I was thinking about it, but always found out that I just liked boys. Happy But everything changed... Happy But dreams don't tell you that much about your sexuality. I even dreamed that I'm a gay man once. Happy A gay mafia man! Happy that was very funny and weired... Happy

There are many theories about sexuality (just wrote my second seminary work about medicalisation of homosexuality... sounds boring! Happy Happy)
I personally think, and thats mostly because I'm studying neurosciences, that you can "train" your love and sexual feelings onto everything you'd like. But socially learned is straight, so most people are, and don't think about it. So basically I agree with you Suppe! Happy No categories necessary.
The only one to set ones borders I think, is oneself.
I think the more you think about yourself, the more openminded you are, the higher the probability for you to find other ways of love, whatever. I could imagine, that this is the reason why so many people find out they ar Bi in later years of their life.
Anyway, it depends on how conservative you are. Most conservative people just don't allow themselves to even think about it. Happy I can see this in my former sth. like high school- grade (it's something different in switzerland): the almost fundamental religious conservative ones are getting married now, while from formerly being all straight, we are now 3 girls (from about 13) living with a girl... Happy thats hight above average...
I don't think there's a need to define one's sexuality. I just think you want to give it a name, to talk about and find others who feel the same way. Probably in a more tolerant society, there will be no such need anymore... Happy

I'm a lesbian (no ifs ands or buts about it) and sometimes I have dreams about guys that weird me out..I go around for at least 24 hours wondering if I'm straight and just don't know it yet..

So, backwards..but the same kinda situation. I don't think dreams are ever meant to be interpreted literally..maybe you just have needs that aren't being met by men ;] that could be found in girlies?

Meh, I don't care what i am, really. I find girls, boys, and even drag queens attractive. Which is mildly disturbing, but whatever.
My mom is also quite homophobic, always making rude comments about gays which is very unsettling.

Heeeey there is nothing wrong with liking people of the opposite sex, same sex or both!! Dreams can be crazy and mean absolutly nothing, usually dreams are the process of the information we've taken in that day, so it could be that. It MIGHT be an indication that you are ready to experiment, it doesn't mean that you are all and out gay... especially since you've liked men your whole life.

I'm the same, I prefer men, but have had the odd thought about women, particularly one German girl I met... long story. So just enjoy your life... don't stress about it, if you like women (as well as men) you will find out in your own time. It sounds like to me that it was just a random dream that meant nothing.

dreams are crazy- could be something on your mind that you aren't ready to think about yet, could just be your reaction to watching something on tv, could be the food you ate! just keep your mind and heart open and you'll be fine!
