kitten is right, see a nurse first, also there are many birth control pills out there, some are high estrogn some are low. You need to find the one that is good for you

i'm on the NUVA ring- it's fabulous! I just put a ring in for 3 weeks then take it out for one, then start over with a new ring. i seem to be super fertile (my daughter was a surprise conception because we were using condoms) and i am not so great a taking pills, especially if you are suppose to take them at the same time everyday. anyway i skipped a period last month for some unexplainable reason and i am suppose to take my ring out sunday and should have my period next week. anyway i am already having some cramping and back pain so i think mother nature is making up for lost time or something! which is just great because my in law are going ot behere next week for thanksgiving so i am going to be stressed and crabby anyway with them here! i feel bad for my husband hahaha

I used to go out with a guy who referred to tampons etc as "horrid girly things" and wouldn't even go down that aisle in the supermarket - v mature, not.

Re sex and periods, once the cramping has stopped usually a couple of days in, I'm ok with it. I mean just cos you're on your period it doesn't mean you switch everything else offHappy
