I agree with you michelle, for me this month wasn't that bad. Sometimes it's really painful...i hate that days!

I started mine pretty much as soon as I turned thirteen. I felt pretty proud because in all the sex ed lessons they're like "it's a myth that you start your period on your thirteenth birthday!" not for me! it wasn't a happy day though. bad periods turn my tummy all loose so it was a mixture of liquidy spillages from parts of my body haha. tmi? i had a lovely image of it being all "oh i'm a woman now!" but surely, nothing could've prepared me for how un ladylike i would feel.

nothing helps period pain like a hot water bottle.

I felt very 'oh I'm a woman now!' actually lol going for a number 2 and heat patches/hot water bottles make my period pains go away LOL sorry. I used to read one of those booklets you get about periods in school over and over to make myself stop worrying about it happening, cuz I was a 'late bloomer' as I said, I was sure I'd have to go to the doctors to get hormone treatment or something haha.

tampons aren't as gross as they sound, they're so much better then wearing a sticky nappy lol

has anyone heard of these plastic cup things that are on the market, you can use the same one for 10 years and well I don't get how they work and I don't like the sound of them eeew

yeah those sound kinda gross. wouldnt you have to wash it?! EW! its bad enough that the period juice is coming out of me i dont wanna have to wash it down the sink where we wash dishes. ok i think i just grossed myself out.

no freaking duh by 7th grade we have probably started shaving

i hated my period, minus my low blood count i would nearly pass out frompain from cramps and nothing worked. So i almost failed school, why? Cause missed like a week every month for my period, than just had to deal with cold, flus and such that werent allowed in the school cause we had Specail Needs Kids, who could possibley die from it, in out schools. Ack.

I was sooo glad when my doctor said, here, have only two periods a year.

Wow Jasmin that sucks. Althought I wouldn't mind missing a little more school, but that's just because of mood swings and I don't think they'll let me go home because I said "I hate people"....

I think that every women is different, and we present different symptoms, some worse than others but it is necessary to see it from a positive point of view, it is a part of the life.

I still didn't go to school when they said 'you can't be off because you hate people!' or words to that effect!

I hate those videos 'but boys go through puberty as well...their balls drop' OMGZ THAT MUST BE SO PAINFUL ONCE IN THEIR ENTIRE LIVES!

After a few months you get used to it really and have your own routine to deal with it. The only thing that actually bugs me about periods is PMT, and men going 'what's up with you? PMT?' they need to teach boys about periods properly!

Any is right, we all differ. I am soo glad I am off it now!!!
