New Kitten!

my cat loved to sleep under our woodstove

she's probably just scared, older cats tend to be more wary than 8-week-old kittens. When we rescued our cat when he was 1 year old, he wouldn't come near us for days. I was so worried and scared that he was going to be timid, boring and not cuddly but on the 3rd or 4th day he had a big huge spaz play session and since then he has been adorable. It just takes time, especially if the cat has had bad experiences before with people.

our other kitten Leeloo, she loves sleeping in the cupboard and in my bottom drawer, they just like places that are cosy and quiet

Hmm okay =) I'm hoping she'll come out of her shell a little more soon. Annoyingly, she seems to wake up around 9:30pm! She barely eats all day, then at night goes nuts, eats and poops loads and runs round like mad haha.

She ventured upstairs today for the first time and hid under a chest of drawers =P

She just did the cutest thing! She's in a weird mood today because she had some shots earlier, so she's kinda sleepy and also kinda scared, but she's looking round upstairs properly now. She was in my brothers room earlier. But anyway, like five minutes ago I was sat in my room (as now), and my door was pushed to but not properly shut, so it looks shut but you don't need to pull the handle to open it, you know? And I heard this noise outside my room so thought it was my brother, but then I looked across and she'd pushed open the door slightly and I could just see this tiny white paw waving up and down hehe

aaaw yeh sometimes my doors opened when no ones there and I've been like 'OMG' looked down and seen the dog!
