Birthday gift idea!

My friends birthday is at the end of the week, but I'm on holidays, so I have nowhere to buy anything! I don't have my sewing machine, or a lot of time/materials. Does anyone have any ideas of something I could make her?

if you have the stuff, you could totally bake them something! cookies, cupcakes, or muffins.. rice crispy treats are really easy to make and really yummy in the tummy :]

also, if you have the materials.. you could sew them a cute little plushie keychain? you can hand sew it and its quick and thoughtful!

I second Sally's plushie idea - and if you don't have a stash of material, why not try hand-sewing one from a t-shirt or something? I'd have thought you could pick up a mini sewing kit from a supermarket/corner shop/somewhere similar and if you cut the shirt up into small enough strips it makes for pretty good substitute for normal stuffing.

I hope you manage to sort something out and I'm sure your friend will love whatever you give her

If you're near a dollar store, you could probably pick up some crafting supplies and make something that doesn't cost all too much... check out www.dollarstorecrafts.com - aside from CO+K, they're one of my favorite craft idea sites.
