Magazines

I am sick over ordering these god awful magazines. I just got sew news in the mail and it looks like it came out the 50's. I want something my age, I seen this magazine that had a lot of cute Japanese projects in it but I don't remember what it was called. Someone help me I can't take the disappointment much longer!

I'd love to live in the USA! you have much more of a happening craft scene than we do over here.

The highlight of the crafting year is the Knit and Stitch show (and yes, I love it) but it's crammed full of old women. It's less about DIY and more about blue rinses.

I didn't know we had a happening crafting scene, where is it. I've seen the food shows if that counts. You wouldn't like USA it revolves around food

Chelsea, we're really DIY with already half done projects right now (I live in Canada, but we pretty much are all the same with hits right now) their are a ton of shows on random networks in the am for crafting, from knitting to large wooden crafts. And with the scrap booking industry taking off we also have a ton of paper craft and scrap booking magazines. And we have crafting cruises, where you have your cruise plus areas where you can do your selected craft i.e knitting, scrap booking, painting. i really want to go on one of those.

No one crafts here in my small town, well like i do. They do mostly like.... errr... old women crafts as they are old women. My friends think its cool some of the stuff i do but, well, they kind of think its old fashion to do crafts (but hell i make cooler things than you buy in the store for cheaper!)
