Acrylic Paint Remover

I recently did a DiY on a pair of shoes with Acrylic paint but didn't like the end results. The shoes were made out of a man made leather or vinyl material. To get rid of the Acrylic paint I used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser which took off all the acrylic paint in about 10 minutes! Yay!

Can u use the eraser to get the paint off dark cotton clothes? Or do u think it'll ruin it? One of my sweatshirts has splattered paint all over it for years & i cant get off. lol I just hope it wont bleach my black shirt or not. :/

Heather, You can NOT clean your children with it! lol I know it sounds crazy, but my mom tried to clean my brothers face (b/c i think he had permanent marker/paint on it, & he had to go to school the next day.) with the eraser ...and it gave him a horrible rash! And it burned. IT was awful! XD lol lesson learned. (yes my mom is really crazy. that was when the eraser first came out...i think she was over excited.)

I don't think Mr. Clean will work on clothes. But I have heard that if you use 2 Tbsp Ammonia, 2 Tbsp white vinegar, and 1 Tbsp salt it will remove acyrlic paint from clothes.

i got a bunch of paint on one of my faviorte black shirts a few weeks ago and after trying every cleaning product under my sink (exepct bleach) I decided to do it the old fashion way.
let it soak in a sink of hot water and soap for 2 hours and scrub the paint off with a toothbrush.

it worked. thank goddess too because that would have really sucked, if i lost another shirt to my hobbie.

hope i helped.
