I. Can't. Stand. Scrapbooking.

I mean, if it works for you, then great. But I hate how there are aisles upon aisles of little trinkets and stickers and thingys that cost a million dollars. I guess I thought the picture was supposed to be the focus, not the parchment background with the themed corners and matching hangy-letters, decorated with 12 different colors of acid-free pens. Who can see through all that junk to find the picture of the cute baby in the first place.

I also hate how pre-packaged it's become. I think it's much more creative if you make all the stuff yourself, rather than buy the "New Baby Boy- Dinosaur Theme Complete Kit" from Michael's.

there are no crafts I really hate... the only thing I hate about crafting is the cost. I know there are ways to work around a budget with some projects but in general between the supplies and the tools needed to make a project look right it adds up really quickly

Anything tiny. I hate to do it because it fustrates me. so I don't, but I can appreciate those that do.

For me it would be making things that serve no purpose, decorative or otherwise. Origami is a bit annoying for me, unless you make a whole slew of say...origami cranes and make a flock to hang from the ceiling, then what point is there except to kill time? They are too temporary as well.

I can't stand perler/hama beads. Yes, the Super Mario Mushroom was cute when I saw it the first time I saw it... and the second.... the third, fourth, fifth and sixth time's the kicker. We can all arrange beads onto a pegboard, it's not something really worthy of showcasing in my opinion, takes no actual creativity.

This isn't supposed to count because they're styles more than anything, but I hate seeing projects labelled Lolita, Kawaii or Steampunk.
They all strike me as:
Lolita: Look at all these things I can stitch lace to! I've never read any Nabokov whatsoever!
Kawaii: Maybe senpai will notice me if I put rainbows and animals with tiny tiny faces on everything c:
Steampunk: This bag of wholesale cogs will look great when glued to my swimming goggles!

I don't really hate these styles so much as I am tired of seeing them used, abused, and over-used. If I could filter projects like that out whenever I'm browsing CO+K, I would.

I hate hand sewing.
I also hate it when people post things that they obviously put no time or effort in to.
And also I think perler beads can get pretty complicated. There's this game store near where I live called Save Point, and someone there makes almost life size fully shaded perler bead posters of characters like Link and Samus and stuff. They look awesome and they're so huge.

I find working with icing incredibly frustrating! I want the cupcake to look like a little ladybug, but, epic fail later, it simply looks.....wrong. I know I can always eat my mistakes (bonus!), but inevitably it ends up looking like a three year old went to town.....sigh.
