Are there any crafts you hate?

Personally I have never payed any attention to scrapbooking, I just don't get it? Maybe I missed something? There are almost 3 aisles of stuff for it in my craft shop!
That is the only one I can think of atm..

lol I love scrapbooking . What crafts do I hate- god I've gone blank. I'll get back to you guys on that one....

i hate crafts that remind me of my girl guides. I know they where recycling things, but they where tacky and it has bad memories

i love scarpbooking.... but pictures that im not in. Lol, and scarpbooking is big because they can make fancy tools that people think they need. I like the tools for making cards, which is really what i do. I make cards from the scarpbooking stuff and send them around.

I hate making felt, sort of. I kind of love it but at the same time it takes so long and it hurts my hands. If I had a needle felting machine I'd totally adore it. I always want to do it but really really can't face it.

I would say scrapbooking as well. I have no patience for the details. But I admire those who are good at it and wish I was into it more.

i like good scrapbooking, but some of it seems really cliched and awful, and others are just plain bad.

I'd have to say scrapbooking too. I mean, I don't hate hate it, but I am not that co-ordinated and I can't easily sit there and plan what looks good with what. Organizing memories ...and making it look good? D: Eeeh.

Still can't think of anything in particular but I hate those tacky kiddy craft sets that are in pre-packed boxes. It's usually really hideous stuff and the materials are really bad quality.

I adore Scrapbooking I find that's actually fun and you get to decorate it however you want it

hm i dont HATE crocheting or knitting but i just DONT GET IT it annoys me

scrapbooking annoys me to, its so cliche most of the time.....i do like arrangingthe paper but i just do that on random peices of paper for my poems.......

i agree with you shiv, i hate those prepackaged ones

wow i sound like i hate crafts!! I DONT!! i like sewing and beading and anything to do with glueguns and jewelery....the list goes on.....andon

Some scrapbooking people do is really bad but some are beautiful. I ♥ to just look through the scrapbooking magazines at all the beautiful pages. Sometimes I get really annoyed coz it's just so darn good and I know I'll never be able to do some of the scrap pages. Most of the pages I've done- I've just copied the layout from a magazine but used different papers, embellishments, photos and journalling and add my own spin on the whole thing coz I can't come up with page designs myself.
I hate being uncreative!!! Don't get me wrong- I'm not always uncreative just sometimes.

Yes those packaged crafts-n'-a-box. I used to get them all the time; Rocking painting mostly (Dried-out water-removable paint and a rock. Really. And this is what I would get for Xmas from people who didn't really know me, just the parents) :]

I'd have to say that what really annoys me is the kinds of things you do at summer camp (noodle picture frames, popsicle stick things, etc.) Mostly it's because I don't like sitting at a picnic bench trying to be creative during "craft time." I like being in my own space with my own materials (jeez, it sounds so snooty saying that) Not that you can't be creative at those camps or bible school or whatever it might be, it just usually ends up as really tacky stuff that doesn't normally end up being worth keeping

I get what you mean Eri, being forced to create something or "have fun" is never good. I find I am my most creative when I am not sitting there at my desk staring at a box of beads! lol
