Cook Books for Kids
I have my own version of bread and butter pudding which is really easy to make.
Custard mixture: 2 medium eggs, 100 gr unsalted butter (melted in low temperature), 2 tbsp granulated sugar, 300 ml full cream milk. Sugar should be dissolved in the warm melted butter. Stir in all ingredients well with an egg beater (don't beat, only stir).
Other ingredients:
- whole wheat bread. You can also use baguette or any bread that you could cut to small cubes and will be crispy when baked.
- cinnamon powder, to taste (optional)
Lay bread cubes in ramekin until full. Pour in custard mixture. Season with cinnamon powder. Baked in preheated oven for 50 minutes, 160 degrees C.
chill and put into fridge. serve cold.
That sounds sooo good thanks for sharing
Do you mean like recipes that look cute, like cutting up hot dogs to make them look like octopus, or do you mean just simple recipes?
I put up a tutorial for jelly bean rice bars some time ago. It's colorful and yummy

Thanks for the recipe Monika. And to answer your question Tk Rainy I would like recipes that a 7 year old would be able to do (with assistance), but recipes that look cute would also be great as long as they're fairly simple.
My youngest brother has been getting into cooking a lot too and he loves making lemonade from real lemons, and he likes to help make french toast.
oh cool. My lil' bro loves making lemonade stands... and rock stands (the mineral)
This isn't baking, I know...
but here's a recipe I tried last night that turned out pretty well, though I would recommend using juice concentrate rather than plain juice if you want a strong flavor. It's super simple. I would recommend not using very deep molds though, as the gummies are kind of difficult to pull out of them. Shallow chocolate molds and baking pans are great though!
