The many uses of flexible bakeware
I'll admit, I'm a dollar store regular, and I always have a way of finding just what I need. This trip, I found star-shaped ice cube molds, which I wanted for making sample soaps... but that's not all they're good for.
Things you can do with silicone ice cube trays and bakeware: (please add your own ideas as well, I'd love to hear them. We can all give each other awesome ideas)
1. Ice cubes (of course, but make them with concentrated lemonade or Kool-Aid to pack a punch in summer/spring drinks)
2. Miniature soaps
3. Sugar cubes (with some sugar and a tiny bit of water, you can make sugar cubes for any occasion from Halloween to a tea party)
4. Bath Bombs
5. Recycled Crayons
6. Miniature Candles/Tea Lights
7. Chocolates (my favorite to make is peppermint bark)
8. Tiny Cupcakes/Cookie Bites
9. Resin Jewelry Molds (as long as the resin is safe to use with silicone)
10. Miniature Popsicles
I'm about out of my own ideas, so please share yours!
I know! make soap!!!
You know, the dollar stores where I used to live had bigger molds of crescent moons and hearts... I should have bought them to make mega soaps! lol
I know, I didn't buy them either
i use them for bath bombs and mini cupcakes
*Themed Ice cubes for parties, with various colours or pretty fruit or edible flowers encased. Would be great for fun additions to punches and cocktails.

Doh!! Whhy have i never thought of that?
Homemade chalks are cute, mix plaster of paris with water and add colour with powdered or liquid tempera paint, food colouring, dyes or acrylic paints. Spoon into moulds, tap 2 or 3 times to help it settle and leave to dry overnight. Any dampness on the top (caused by it separating slightly) can usually be patted off with papertowel.
