Citricos- i restaurant at walt disney world in florida- i used to work there as an intern- it was very pricey so i only ate their as a customer once- and will never forget the seafood!
and in all honesty the best meals are the ones my grandmother would make for me- especially her roast beef, and thing i make myself- as a "professional" cook i am a bit of a snob!
LARRY'S GIANT SUBS
I went to one that had a giant king kong style gorilla busting through the wall. But my favorite thing about Larry's is "The BIG Boss Man". It's a philly cheese steak sandwich with mushrooms, onions, banana pepers and provalone cheese. It is so good that it was the first thing I ever ordered from there and I have NEVER got anything other than the big boss man in all the years I've been eating there O.o
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's obsessed with international fare!!
Mine are:
Sushi Max, Lebanon, TN(30 mins away, just discovered it, go to their website, they are the Jesus Christ of Sushi restaurants)
http://www.thesushimax.com/
The Clay Pit(Indian), Murfreesboro, TN Y'all have seriously got me jonesin' for some naan...and a pile of tikka masala...yuummm..
Ingrid's German Restaurant, McMinnville, TN Ingrid makes the food herself, only what she feels like making that day, and it's so awesome. She won't even share her recipes with her kids!! Her cakes are foodgasmic, the chocolate one...OMG, and I'd never had Beesting cake, but I doubt I'll like it as much anywhere but there!!
The Lake View on the road to Llanberis N Wales for their steak.
There's an Italian restaurant I went to in Galvesten, TX and had a linguine primavera that was just divine. I can't remember the name of the place though, I was only in Galvesten for a day so never got to go back.
The Ship at Red Wharf Bay on Angelsey, everything on the menu is just fantastic. If ever you're in North Wales you MUST go there, but be warned, the starters are huge, if you have one there may not be room for pud and you gotta have the pot au chocolat, it'd be a crime not to=)
The Love Apple Cafe in Bradford. They make everything to order and don't use frozen ingredients. They have a very large selection of vegetarian dishes, not just a bit of limp lettuce with cheese. They will cater for any special diet and have locally made cakes and ice cream. I usually have to get half portions so I can leave room for pudding. It's cheap too. Last time I went it cost £15 for two starters and main courses. Their local sausages with mash and carrot & apple gravey is delicious.
My fav restaurant was taken over last year!
It was "The Rocks" at Stanthorpe, Qld - yummy Aussie fusion food with a 5* ambience and great staff.
Now its an all you can eat German Grill - so not the same!
there's this little restaurant called WONG'S KITCHEN it's the best damn chinese food i have ever had! it's a little family owned restaurant it's so delicious and it's super cheap in price! all their plates are family sized, which feed about 4 people and they are less than 5 bucks. the place is kind of hidden so it's never crowded. All the waitresses are so adorable in their chinese looking uniforms, all the staff is super friendly and they always remember our face . ahh writting about it makes me crave it soo bad!
My boyfriend took me to a lovely little resturaunt called La Cavarna in Enfield (England).
It was AMAZING.
But i really like Chinese food too! Veggie Spring rolls are addictive :o
And Indian Mango Chutney is well... undescribably yummy!
