Have you always been creative and artistic?
I believe so ! I was always the crafty kid in school, I then started taking art lessons when I was 6 and never stopped since !
How would you describe the style of your work?
I would describe it as cartoony, moody and colourful ?
What’s in your pencil case and what’s your favorite tool?
To be honest I haven’t drawn traditionally in a while, but my favourite tools are definitely colour pencils and gouache !
Who is your favorite superhero?
Spiderman ! I’m a sucker for Peter Parker though Miles Morales is also very cool !
If you could have one super power what would it be?
I would love to be able to fly !
Where do you look for inspiration?
Everywhere. I consume a lot of entertainment (too much), movies, books, series, video games... I am inspired by original, beautiful art styles and good storytelling.
But, it might sound cliché, I am mostly inspired by my own life and adventures, and that’s what I want to depict most (there isn’t a lot happening right now though so I guess I’ll go back to the Queen’s Gambit inspired art aha).
Who are your favorite artists or comic book authors?
I am forever inspired by Alex Cho, GopGap, Elena and Olivia Ceballos, Loish and Kat Tsai !
I also want to mention my favourite webcomics’ authors, Hooky’s Miriam Bonastre, Lore Olympus’ Rachel Smythe, Edith’s Swansgarden ans Nice to Meet You’s Wishroomness !
