My name is Landry Garnier i'm 21 years old and I'm an self-thaught illustrator/Artist based in Nice, France. The drawing became a real passion for me and my dream is to create my own company of Video Games/ Animation Studio with my best friend.
I learn by myself and I have many dreams that I will like to realize

Have you always been creative and artistic?

I have always been a dreamer since my childhood. And the school was boring for me.
I have always drew but i started full time drawing 3 years ago, and i knew that i wanted to be a illustrator/Artist.

How would you describe the style of your work?

I don't know if i have a style, but i like to explore many way of drawing, i do some traditonnal painting on canvas, some characters design for a comics book and many digital/pencil portraits/poses studies.

What’s in your pencil case and what’s your favorite tool?

When i draw on paper i only use a B- 9B paper pen and an eraser.
And for my digital painting i use Autodesk SketchBook Pro software.

Who is your favorite superhero?

Since i was a kid i wanted to become Spider-Man.
It's such a charismatic Superhero.
and it must be said that his suit is awesome.

If you could have one super power what would it be?

I always wanted to travel and control the time.
Going to the past to fix mistakes, or going to the future to see what the world will become.
by the way i always wanted to live in the 70's.

Where do you look for inspiration?

I am inspired by everything around me. I also try to find some inspiration on internet.
I'm a sensitive person and i love to express feelings and expressions in my drawings and the reference images are an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

Who are your favorite artists or comic book authors?

I have many favorite artists that i follow on instagram. There are so many talented people who share extraordinary pieces that pushes me to go even further.
But i think that my main favorite artist is Miyazaki from Studio Ghibli who accompanied me all my childhood and thanks to him I have many dreams to realized.
