Our sidekicks are testing out embroidery supplies from Sublime Stitching in this week's Craft Test and have stitched up three gorgeous cushions. We love how creative and unique each one turned out!

The Sublime Stitching Pillow Cover is made from a lovely quality fabric and is beautifully put together, you really do have a top quality blank canvas to start embellishing straight away. The Design Sheet is packed with a mix of really modern and more traditional designs that all work really well together or separately. Although the designs are intended to have a Mexican feel I was able to produce something this time that is very pretty, traditional and quintessentially "English" which just goes to show how very versatile they are. The quality of the imprints was great and I was able to get many impressions from each one, great for repeating patterns. I still have so many designs left on the sheet not even touched yet and so I'm planning to try out some smaller projects, maybe a coin purse or little evening bag with a wrist strap

I can say with confidence that this pillow cover is the best quality of embroidery fabric I have worked on. It is so soft and has a great weave to it, the thread moves through it so smoothly and easily and makes the stitching itself so much less work - and more fun. The endless personalization from beginning to end of project is a real plus for me. I'm totally going to re-use the transfers for a set of dinner napkins and my daughter has been eyeing them as well. They are a great project for any level of stitcher, and more contemporary than a traditional sampler, but still great practice and skill building.

I would just like to say that The Sublime Stitching products are modern, fun and fantastically easy to use. They come with some of the easiest and clearest instructions that I have ever come across and are absolutely perfect for a beginner.
